HOW DEEP IS THE SEA How deep is the sea? I asked from the shore, It whispered, come closer, There’s always much more. Beneath all the silver Beneath all the blue, Are gardens of coral That sunlight shines through.

HOW SALTY IS THE SEA How salty is the sea? I tasted one drop, It danced on my tongue And refused there to stop. It tasted of journeys Of ships sailing through, Of mornings in silver And evenings in blue.
Note: I found an old comment of mine under a video on the rise of Instapoetry. This is my comment on a critique. KD All best-sellers?

The old lockbox There’s times I wake up feeling lonely, dreaming someone might be my only. But life moves on and no one knocks, hope stays hidden in an old lockbox.

Blood red and orange trace where white light crept across His canvas: it belongs to Him. - The moon has risen; the eyes have opened where heaven begins. Not one tear you shed has gone unnoticed; the stars do not rest when the night here ends. - The edge of the depths erase footprints left of any sin tread into sifting sand, and darkness flees west from the promise kept where the sun is met. - It has been witnessed. The sun is risen with red and orange bleeding high above the vast horizon. You are forgiven; the sun is risen. - - -

MY BROTHERS, MY FRIENDS We shared the same beginnings, The same familiar door, We ran around as children And argued on the floor.
FLY AWAY, LITTLE BIRD I found you in the winter, Your feathers wet with rain, Your tiny wings were trembling, Your eyes were filled with pain.
IF GOD CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN ** If God came down from Heaven to walk amidst mankind, I wonder just what He would think and all the things He’d find.
