heartbreak
They can break your heart, but they can't break your soul; poetry about lost love that comforts and uplifts.
Shattered Melody
In the silence of solitude, a symphony once playedNotes of love and hope, in harmony they swayedBut now the melody is broken, shattered into piecesLike a fragile heart, torn apart by love's cruel diseasesEach note once so sweet, now a bitter reminderOf a love that was fleeting, a love that was not kinderThe music echoes through the chambers of my broken heartA haunting melody, tearing me apartThe chords of love now discordant, a painful cacophonyA once beautiful song, now a mournful elegyAs I listen to the shattered melody, I weepFor a love that was lost, for promises not meant to keepBut perhaps in the brokenness, there is beauty to be foundIn the rawness of the pain, in the depths of the soundFor in the shattered melody, there lies a truthThat love, though fleeting, is eternal in its youthSo I will embrace the brokenness, the pain, the sorrowFor in the shattered melody, I will find a new tomorrowA symphony of healing, of growth, of graceIn the shattered melody, I find my heart's true place.

Echoes of a Shattered Soul
In the wreckage of a broken heart,Lies a symphony of pain and art,Each beat a reminder of love gone astray,Echoes of sorrow that never truly fade away. The jagged pieces of a shattered soul,Scattered like ashes from a burning coal,The emptiness screams in the dead of night,A haunting melody of a silent plight.Memories like shards of glass,Cutting through the days that pass,A kaleidoscope of shattered dreams,Torn apart at the seams.Yet in the darkness, a whisper of hope,A flicker of light on a slippery slope,For even in the depths of despair,There lies the promise of repair. So let the echoes of a shattered soul,Be a testament to love's toll,For in the midst of heartbreak's pain,There is always beauty to be gained.

An Ode to Misery
An ode to our dear friend, misery: Life is a monotonous drudgery, a sinuous, sentient maze that reveals sinister revelations, conniving contradictions to convince you life is worth living. It continuously creates credible, wondrous creatures, then tells you something sensuous and sensational is around the corner, you just need to go on a little farther, live a little longer, have another glass of wine. But life is deceptive, because something better rarely ever is. Then life repeats itself, repeats its beautiful lies, and we continue to believe. We are all just pendulous puppets of life’s power trip, as it controls our plight and misery with a smile, pulling our strings every chance it gets. Your equanimity wont matter, life’s treacherous lessons will leave you tremulous, alone and melancholy. Life will treat you churlishly, because life is miserable. Life will drag you into its trenches and dig its heinous claws into you, never allowing you to escape, not until deaths final surrender.
