No matter their age, some celebrities have old souls; poems written by celebrity poets and your favorite celebrities' favorite poems.

No, Don’t turn around now
You hear it now, don’t you? That scraping sound beneath the anthem,
that crack beneath the stars and stripes,
 the hiss of something hungry
slipping through the seams of a nation
that once swore never again.

Amazons
A villanelle for the strength and intelligence shown by women in the face of two thousand years of patriarchal abuse. You will need to look these up on Google as the villanelle does not give room for expanded information, though I have followed it with a Women's History Month piece from some years back.

For a Troubadour
This song is about my all-time favorite singer/songwriter. It’s my equivalent of “Dear Mr. Gable” (if you know, you know). Bonus points if you can guess who it is!
