The Silence Of Sorrow
A Bref Double Inspired By Kim Poor's Artwork

Introduction
While I was aware of Kim Poor, I didn't know she was such a brilliant artist with a vast amount of work which you can check out on her site here.
This was kicked off by this image shared on Facebook by David Jacobs in the "In the Court - Prog and Beyond" music group.
I'll include the saved image incase the original post gets lost.

David noted that the image was used for the album cover of "Till We Have Faces" by Steve Hackett, who I then found is married to Kim.
Steve is ex Genesis and "Silent Sorrow In Empty Boats" is an instrumental from the album "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" by Genesis. The title is mentioned the the preceding song "The Lamia" and marks Rael's transition from The Lamia to The Slippermen.
The image and the song title made me want to write some lines, which by the nature of all these things will be about sadness.
I am not sure whether this should be in the Art community because it is inspired by the amazing ghostly work of Kim Poor, but there is a poem, so Poets community it is.
