ABOUT DOLLY, TIGER AND TIM

You know, we all go through storms and somedays the storms can be too much. This week Dolly passed, Tim Curry passed and Tiger is in the news again trying to navigate the storm. And outside their world is us and in reading my early morning news, the pettiness, the hateful rhetoric of people was just too much for me and so I wrote this:

ABOUT DOLLY, TIGER AND TIM

and hate 8-28-2026

As I went throughout my day

Reading only, not looking for anything to say

As I was weary of the goodness

From the union of the failing of our Tuesday...

I went back to my Monday was

The good of Dolly can only last so much

Because...

Well, just because we are human after all...

*** I read a comment from a said human

Stating only her side had the acu men (bless you I said to her sneeze)

To empathize and align

With such a human as Dolly Divine...

I read another article on Tiger Woods

With another human disparaging his looks

As being that of an addict

Thinking to myself, "man, what a prick"!

***

Now I don't mind, I understand

When a man is down

Kick him while we can

As it's easier than helping him to stand-Yeah, I get it!

But seriously,

Is it so hard to just this once

Go at least more than just 2 days

Before we toss them to the chipper with a rock along the way?

And so I think I may

Just for the sake of my own peace this day

Put the rocks and hate away

Take window washer and wash the smudges from my own dirty display...

***

Then Ima sit with popcorn if I can

Reminisce of all that's been

As I watch that sweet transvestite once again

Though Tim Curry is just a man

And I'll watch IT after then...

..

For just one more day

Put the hate away!
