Primal howl

Sojourner

With chest billowed and claws present,

she let a howl, a steadied roar.

Primal in every aspect of its vocalozation and how it attuned to the vibrating waves around us.

I can feel her voice within me as I place myself deeper within her.

In her heart,

In her mind,

In her life and in her call.

Instinctive fuss and body language speaks volumes before any sound is made.

Yours, a tongue for which I’m very fluent, is one of many mysteries,

But also very warm and welcoming.

Your body language,

though natural to my vocabulary,

often leaves me tongue tied waiting for you to place your words in my mouth. Those words of affirmation and appreciation.

The things I want to say.

The things I want to hear.

Her voice,

a warriors call,

resonates through the atmosphere

and reside nowhere.

It only occupies.

Inhabits nomadically throughout my soul.

Constantly humming as it breezes past my mind like spring wind dancing on my window pain.
