Your smile is so contagious
They might start another lockdown
just to be safe.
They will definitely make you wear a mask
a lot of little old ladies' lives might be saved
through the prevention of problematic palpitations;
but the world will be a little bit darker,
and I'd rather take my chances.
sunny boy.

I loved the feel of this: funny, light-hearted, cheeky. Especially the sunny boy at the end. Made me smirk!
That was lovely , I love uplifting positive poetry. I try to make mine that way all the time
Love how this spins the pandemic into things, but in a tongue-in-cheek way! "through the prevention of problematic palpitations" is a great line:)
Your poem made me remember this line, "You've got a smile that could light up this whole town" from You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift. Loved your poem!
