content to gnaw on self-esteem, impossible to be satiated with the
likes of mere love. the sheer
impetus for possession is maddening. my
polarized thoughts strip away all
sanity, until i'm left with one undeniable truth after the fallout–
every moment your lips touch mine, i transcend.

I like the imagery you create across this, with words like “gnaw” and “satiated” and “maddening” Heather- it gives the piece an almost animalistic energy!
