For me, someone knocked on the bathroom door & said, "Pastor, could you please turn your microphone off."

Watch the Hips
I stare into your steel blue eyes, piercing with intent, just across the line from me. “Watch the hips,” I think to myself. “The hips will tell the story; they cannot disguise where you’re headed. Show me where you’re going.” The thought drills itself into my brain with lazer-like intensity as I brush the salty sweat from my eyes.
Content Warning: Child peril. Feral had been watching the little girl intently as the older boy led her into the woods toward the place of scattered bones. Once he had abandoned her near the dragon’s lair, he had been easy enough to dispatch, a satisfying snack in the deep shadows of the afternoon light.
