The nurse
Removed your
Ventilator
and catheter tubes
You were able to sit
And eat breakfast while speaking
Coherently. Now the doctors
Can run more diagnostic tests on
You and make sure nothing else is gone wrong.
You don’t realize how much you are needed
You don’t realize how much you are loved.
You don’t realize how special you
Are to everyone in life.
You have so many people
That love you so much
We just want the
best for you
