Comparing paper types investigation
In this paper, I will be comparing three different types of paper. The types of paper are 80gsm recycled copier paper, 160gsm matte premium white paper and 275gsm photo paper plus glossy II. I will be investigating these types of paper to learn the suitability for certain uses and analyzing the cost-efficiency. I also will be looking at durability and printability in relation to printing text or photos. From my investigation and testing, I will be making a decision on which paper is the best for what use and also conclude with which paper type I will be using for my major assignment. In order to get valid conclusions, I will perform multiply tests including a rip test, a fold test, a water drop test and a print test.

Photo Finish
Above is an unedited photo I captured with my phone this past Thanksgiving. The day had been primarily overcast and drizzly, but my niece’s horses were kind enough to strike a pose just as the clouds broke and the sun’s beams slanted through the trees. The resultant picture came out underexposed and drabber than desired; it would take my access to and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop to combat the deficiencies in my phone’s less-than-stellar camera. The following brief tutorial will outline the steps taken to better bring out this scene’s natural beauty.

Transforming ordinary moments into winning shots
Being my mother’s daughter, and my mom having been a photographer, you could say I am a photography enthusiast. In fact, I’ve just gotten a camera tattoo! I grew up in front of cameras and, during my teenage years, I was a fashion model for about 5 years. Now, I enjoy getting creative with my shots and have a lot of fun editing and combining filters.

Marking Moments: Photo Collage

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? What isn't wrong with this picture?
