Doggie Days
I've always loved dogs. From a young age, I was endeared with the soft, cuddly animals that provide unconditional love. However, there was a strict 'no furry pet' rule at my house, largely due to my father. Therefore, I was denied the love of a dog that I so dearly craved.

New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world - as long as you're not one of the many animals who live in the mean city streets. PETA is one of those animal rights groups known as a firestarter of sorts. It's controversial, especially since it has been called out for euthanizing animals PETA was supposed to save - even when they were perfectly healthy. As an organization, it seems less interested in helping animals and more interested in just making money and scandals.

Emily McCayPublished 7 years ago in PetlifeWhich Animals Can Do Math?
In the late 19th Century, German math teacher Wilhelm von Osten became convinced that animals could do math. To prove this, he took a horse, and taught it to solve basic math equations by pawing the ground with its hooves to represent numbers. One stroke–one. Two strokes–two. Von Osten would take the horse, named Clever Hans, from town to town to tell it math equations, which it would solve to the public's amazement. It turned out, though, that, unbeknownst to von Osten, Clever Hans didn't know math. He merely pawed the ground until his master looked overjoyed, and knew then that he had done his job.
