SotiraPublished 2 years ago in MotivationStop taking 'NO' as a negative!
The word 'no' is quite often given a bad rap, isn't it? A word for many seen as a measure of failure, and many other cases a word preventing them from moving forward. Well guess what? In life, you will hear it a lot.
Claire WildingPublished 2 years ago in MotivationDo Not Set Goals... Manifest Them.
With 2021 behind us and 2022 starting off on some pretty solid bad notes (RIP Betty White), it's only a matter of time before we start to see the posts about people giving up before they even try and start to work towards their goals for the year. But, I'm here to tell you that mom is right. There are benefits to making the bed. These benefits could help improve sleep. "A National Sleep Foundation poll found that survey participants who reported regularly making their bed were also more likely to say that they got a good night's sleep most nights." Lessons in Awe
I’m sitting on the bus on my way to work. My headphones are plugged into my ears and I’m looking down at my phone. I enter my workspace. It’s a glorious building, built in the 1930s and decked out like an underwater haven. A sea of emerald meets my eye as I walk through the front doors. Though I’ve seen the architecture many times and often take it for granted, when I stop for a moment to look up the sight before me is truly magnificent.
