Spiderman: Into the Spider verse ushered in a higher dimension of unknown friendships

Sometime ago two beloved people passed. The tragic departure of Anthony Bourdain and Chester Bennington yet hunt us. Our shock took to sadness, despair and questions. Why? What did we miss? We may have talked them out of it? But, matters of the heart stay secret to its bearer. We all thought they were OK? We were so wrong! Or maybe we just didn't listen. Now it's too late. They will be sorely missed. With their deaths and more like them, It does feel like this world is not enough.

Watch The Tragic Truth About Anthony Bourdain

Anthony Bourdain is a piece of digital artwork by Paulette B Wright which was uploaded on June 14th, 2018.

"...as a former heroin addict, Bourdain inspired countless people with his remarkably honest story of recovery. But things were far from perfect in his world. Still, he continued to struggle with his mental health. Despite his enviable career as a travel documentarian, he was haunted by darkness that he couldn’t seem to shake. This coupled with his rigorous schedule likely made him feel exhausted whenever the cameras were off." source: ati

Like Anthony, Chester suffered mental illness

Chester Bennington Linkin is a piece of digital artwork by Kha Dieu Vuong which uploaded on Feb 5th, 2022.

In an interview of Feb '17 he expressed cries of help. Then the interviewer and fans alike joked. Looking back, it's clearly wasn't a joke. People you know may be in such a similar situation. So next time someone pours their heart out to you, really listen to what they are saying. I am as shocked as everyone else and searching for answers as to why. In the video link above, he clearly told us. We didn't listen. If we did, his questions would have created movement and in turn given him some progress.

As our mind retort, emotions erupt.

We seek answers, yet we know less. Our heroes teach one thing, someday we will face up to their challenges and may end up with their fate. While we linger at questions, answers are our hope. Our peace, joy and triumph depend on it. If after an arduous search no answer is found, we despair. Hope that is deferred makes a heart sick, and you arrive at a recipe for disaster. Listen to Chester, he asked for help! We didn't listen, he didn't progress. His world was not enough.

What will you do when faced with a similar condition?

Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) watches a dawn break. He searches for answers in of A New Hope (1977)

When you need a listening ear, but find none. You'd ask, "am I truly loved"? We love for our sakes. Truly love works the other way round. You love another just as you love yourself, and dawn will bring "A New Hope". People search for love because they don't give it or don't know it. They conclude love doesn't endure, but seek it anyway. The truth is human love fails, and the search for it is a dead end. Clearly, this world is not enough.

A Mythological Proposition

ELYSIUM by Mitchell Stuart. Concept and design work completed while at Image Engine under the supervision of Kent Matheson

At times when our reach exceeds our grasp, we turn to fiction or myth. If we seek more than this world, maybe there is more than this world. Think Elysium! While it's myth, it is an idea that is quite representational of our hopes for eternity. Real science projects it is possible, since we have the ISS. However, it is not economical to build, because you'd have to get the part out there. Plus, it requires an enormous amount of energy to keep running.

Elysium (2013) is a torus of paradise artificially powered and run by an AI. It floats above the earth, at near moon distance from it.. However everyone on earth will die to reach it

Say the two problems are solved. The world will be just like Elysium by Neill Blomkamp. Film fiction often pitches two world-archetypes inside a dystopian future at extremes. A reality where a world is pitched against the other in a pair of hellish-paradise. A reality we maybe approaching already. This means the human condition will yet dictate how we live. It is that human condition, "why is man evil continuously"? That's been the bane of man. We are busy being selfish, and we don't practice caring or love.

A Psychological Proposition

The human being is made of "spirit", "soul" and "body". However, we don't know we have a human spirit. That is because it is not alive or it is disconnected from its source which is the creator.

Three streams, each carrying three separate consciousnesses. The first two flow in the one direction, the third in the opposite direction. All the three represent the composition of a human; spirit, soul and body. The tubes ought to be stacked in the order of 0, 1, and 2. But, they are out or order. So it is currently stacked at 2, 1 and 0. The inverted stacking order is due to the present state of the human. He pursues what hurts himself, herself, or people, and not what supports or helps.

It will take a force equal to an "act of God" to flip the stack right side up. In the wrong order, a human can only be selfish, or cannot love properly. It is only in the right order that he/she can practice love towards people. This is the ultimate problem. How do we become better humans; practice love to one another? Now, I am talking about charity, helping or simply treating anyone the way you'd like to be treated. And that'll do it. This world can then be enough.

A Physical Proposition

Quite often scientific discoveries are greeted with triumph. Let's take gravity as an example, Physicists study "gravity", and everybody obeys it. If our minds can apply gravity to Rocket Science, say Apollo 11, what mind or law then created gravity itself? Science remains agnostic to such because it can't be measured in a laboratory. Truth is scientists in the field are coming up with more unanswered questions than expected, and it is necessary to consider other dimensions outside the usual 3.

Practice Charity

Likewise, we discovered love exists, we didn't create it. Yet, we obey it. So we ought to practice doing good to each other. Why obey gravity and not love? Truly, gravity exerts itself, but love must be exerted or practiced. By our understanding, our efforts at practicing love is in a lazy percentile. It will take an act of God to change a mind, for every type of culture is a type of mindset, indoctrination, teaching or reasoning. Love must first be an education, before it's practiced properly. That will make this world enough.

We Need a Higher Love, Ask Steve Winwood

We need a higher LOVE from beyond the stars emptied into our hearts. A force so strong to get one to help another. This world can then be enough.

"Think about it, there must be a higher love. Down in the heart or hidden in the stars above. Without it, life is wasted time. Look inside your heart, and I'll look inside mine. Things look so bad everywhere. In this whole world, what is fair? We walk the line and try to see. Falling behind in what could be, oh. Bring me higher love. Bring me higher love. "

The Concept of the Head, Flesh and Heart

Andrew Garfield is Desmond T. Doss in Mel Gibson's Hacksaw Ridge (2016). A perfect example of a man who listens to his conscience over the voice of his feelings and logic. The world needs more people like Desmond Doss.

Otherwise logic, feeling and conscience. Logic rests on experience. Feelings are obvious. Conscience is our moral sense of right and wrong. We listen to these three daily. However, we do things less from conscience than logic and feelings. For instance "our bad habits percolate through society since public smoking and drinking. We air our evils with no privacy, so why stop now, we say?" That's logic and feeling in harmony. We seek conscience after we stumble. We should dialogue more with our conscience.

What you think, you also say!

Our thinking eventually comes out of the mouth. We judge people or the things that people do from what it looks or feels like, and not from the truth or what is right and wrong. Why do we talk so much and know so little? A lot of people don't have the knowledge give a comment, or give an opinion on certain matters, but they do anyway. We have hidden the truth so far away, it takes so much digging to find it. Help one person everyday. Save the world. Let us make this world enough for each one.

This was a beautiful and very insightful read. I love how it captures every aspect of the human mind, our thoughts, and actions. I like that it provokes us to think deeply and ask ourselves if we truly are doing the right things to show love, but then again to firstly, know love , understand it before we show it. It tells the reader that true can only be gotten from the creator, this again further provokes the reader to question who is my creator??... With all the chaos going on with the world right now, I strongly only love can heal us and make it right .

This is an amazing & exceptional piece/read. It gives the reader a lot of things to think about and it's a topic the world should discuss. I personally believe that people commit suicide because there is no one listening to them or no one to talk to. We really need to practice love in this world, it will go a long way to help one another.

Yes. Heroin addiction never ends. Never get into that stuff. Bourdain is not dead. His death, like that of any famous person, is only for a retirement from that alias.
