She tried to end her life but now it couldn't be any better
It seemed a day like any other, sunny and warm but in the life of a young woman life could not be any worse. The cold hands of hopelesness gripped her neck choking out her will to live. Struggling to pay bills, facing dead end after dead end and battling to feel accepted by an unloving family, that day Anita made the fatal decision to end it all. Desperate to make all the pain go away she reached for her chosen means, a bottle of snipper. Quick, painless and effective. She eagerly waited for the poision to end her suffering. Then she blacked out. She did not know what happened next, did not see how her neighbour, who after finding her, raised an alarm. She did not noticed her limp body being rushed frantically through the streets in search of help. After several attempts to revive her the assembly of concerned neighbours came to a place with a very confident and unusual woman. " So she tried to kill herself?" She asked casually. "All these foolish girls" she murmured under her breath as she reached for the magic powder, also known as charcoal. Following this wise woman's instructions the party of rescuers put the charcoal in the dying woman's mouth and made her swallow. At first there was nothing, no response.

12 Months of Inner Work with Angela Hryniuk - My Spiritual Teacher
My childhood was traumatic, and I would not even wish this trauma on my own worst enemy (if I had one). Without going too deep into the specifics, my father left me the moment I was born (he was involved in an extra-marital affair. That's how I came into the world via a c-section), and my mother was diagnosed with virtually every illness imaginable. This is no exaggeration, where I had a foster family looking after me one weekend a month from age 9, in which they fostered me on a permanent basis when my mother passed away when I was only 13 years of age. In Angela Hryniuk's Ultimate Prosperity Intensive program; you learn about the six stages of childhood development as it relates to money and your life experiences to date. Due to my tough upbringing (with illnesses of my own, while growing up in a poor family in housing commission homes); I was wounded in all six stages of childhood development. School was torture as well - naturally. I was suicidal. After 12 months of deep inner work with my spiritual teacher, Angela Hryniuk - I have transformed, and have moved mountains in every area of my life; from my finances to my relationships. Angela knows how to serve, and to give immense value, care and love to her students/program participants.

WWJD
It was 1995, and I was 5 years old. Wednesday nights at eight o’clock were reserved for my dad and I to watch Star Trek: Voyager together. This is the only memory I can recall of ever spending much time with my father growing up. The hour-long science fiction series transported me to other worlds and inspired me to dream of bigger, better things.

Hannah Gadsby on the Intersection of Humor and Activism
When I first stumbled across this hour long comedy special on Netflix, I was expecting to laugh and to be happy that an openly gay woman comedian is getting the recognition she deserves. What I wasn’t expecting was to learn about art history, to be reminded how important self love is, and to see someone be so vulnerable, honest and angry in front of such a large audience, in the midst of her own comedy show. I loved it because it wasn’t your average stand up show. She didn’t feel obligated to provide the audience with non-stop laughs, just for the sake of it. She challenged both the viewers in the Sydney Opera House and the viewers watching at home to have a much deeper experience. Gadsby undoubtedly incited laughter, but she also held back nothing when tackling the intersectional experience of being both a queer and a woman.

What Acting Taught Me. Top Story - August 2019.
For me, acting always served a very specific purpose. When I first started, I couldn't have been more than 5 or 6, it was for pure, innocent joy. Relentless pleading from their boisterous and self-assured child left my parents with little choice, but to enroll me in acting classes. Then, around 12, my hobby turned into a career. This career would fill my days with acting classes and auditions. Days turned into years. There would be the occasional triumph, those fortunate moments when working meant going to set and earning a paycheck. But more often than not, working meant class, practice, audition, repeat. It wasn't until more recently in life, when the realities of adulthood brought forth new and unfamiliar experiences, that it came to serve yet another distinct purpose.

A Letter to My Role Model
Hello AJ (god this sounds so weird), I don’t know if you’ll read this or not, but I wanted to write to you anyway (boldness maybe) in order to thank you for being an inspiration for me, for always standing up for yourself and most of all for making me feel confident despite my mental illness.

Best Motivational Speakers in the World
Last semester during the last few weeks, I felt discouraged to study and do my best on the final exams. I knew that break was coming up real soon and I also knew that the final exams were going to be brutal. No matter how hard I tried to study, I always felt like I was going to fail every exam miserably. Nursing exams are no walk in the park either, and studying for them literally takes sweat and blood just to get through one chapter.

Why I Don't Live Vicariously Through Celebrities or Public Figures
Everyone had at least a famous person that we all have looked up to growing up. Going to an event to get a picture or autograph is an exciting moment in someone's life. In this article, I'm going to give my two cents of why I don't live my life through famous people. I know that sounds odd or unusual, but it's the truth. For most of my life, I have met many well-known public figures—mostly at conventions. People like Vic Mignogna, Kyle Hebert, J. Michael Tatum, Don Teems, and Ciara Renee. It was a great opportunity to meet and take pictures with these people. I'll always hold onto those memories by posting those pictures on my social media pages. I don't always share photos of a famous person that I met, because it's not my thing. I'll share a picture of one every now and then, but it's not an everyday thing. I don't want to come across as being a big shot or show off. It seems like a majority of people these days live vicariously through famous people: whether those people are reality TV stars, actors, or actresses. Some people do that because they feel that he or she knows them personally and is willing to defend them every single time. To be honest, it's sad and pathetic to see regular people do that, mainly because they probably don't have or never had any positive influences in their lives, which I can understand. Their lives probably have no meaning and they're constantly feeling unsatisfied about their lives. They want to see what it feels like to experience the life of that person.
