Which Road to Choose
Do you ever feel like your life isn’t going anywhere? Or that the choices you make are not the right ones? Well, isn’t that the way life is supposed to be? I mean we all have our problems, granted that some of us, me included, have more than others. But it is have we deal with those problem that, in the end, will define us as a person. Sometimes I feel like my life is going nowhere, nothing I do Turns out the way I had hoped, and it seems that no one really cares. Even though people tell me that it will be alright, that there is nothing to worry about, and that everything will work itself out, I still can’t help but wonder if it really will. At times I feel hopeless, at the end of my rope, like life has no meaning, and that there may be nothing left to live for. There are even times that I fell that I am a burden to everyone who knows me. My life story is not very interesting, but it has been simple for the most part. I had a fairly good childhood, and I have known some great friends along the way.

The Cruel Thing Called Life
LET’S FACE IT….life is not easy or fair. No one ever said that it would be, truth of the matter is life can sometimes be cruel and depressing and no matter how hard you try you may think that you will never succeed at it. Life at time will be the most hateful and cruel thing you will ever experience. It will spit in your face and cause you to cry. At times you will fail and you will fall. You will love and you will be loved. You will hate and you will be hated. Life will tear your dreams apart. Life will build you up and then tare you down.

So safe inside
8/25/2020 So Safe Inside Written by Kathy Reed Nothing is safe unless you check it out When do you think that the best thing that you can do is to stop doing what you are doing? How many times have you decided that the path that you are on is too far from the path that you want to take? When you are reviewing your art do you think that the positive thoughts you had are what will win the race or are you sitting around, wondering if it matters at all. Before you began your artwork, I bet that fifteen minutes before was the safe as it is now. Without being said, you will gain from what you did, not the other way around.

Get Your Own House in Order
There’s an old adage I have been thinking about lately about how it is primarily important to take care of oneself first and not just in one way but in every part of your life. Before you can set an example to others in your house, or others in your community, or others in an overall society, you first need to show that you can ‘get your own house in order.’ You need to be able to handle yourself and your own day-to-day problems first before you can lead others to do the same in their own lives.

ten reasons to take to thirty
After traipsing through a dreary Netflix catalogue one evening, knowing my selection would be an effortless re-re-re watch of another Friends episode, I settled solo on my sofa and decided on ‘the one where' Rachel turns thirty. My nearing thirty-year-old mind hurled itself back to a time where turning thirty had never entered it, a time where the age of the Friends cast didn’t matter. Instead, my innocent and limited ten-year-old brain was only concerned with whether there was enough free credit left on my Nokia to text into the music channels. I wasn’t preoccupied with age, especially not those twenty years ahead of me. Age was, just a number. And I heard that phrase a lot - uttered by adults through cigarette smoke and coffee steam - but it never occurred to me why anyone would need to state something so obvious.

All Talk, No Action
One of my biggest pet peeves is when people say things they don’t mean. And I don’t mean a change of opinion. When presented with new information, you should be able to change your opinion. What I’m referring to is when someone says they are going to do something, and it never happens. Of course, at the end of the day, it really doesn’t matter to me. But think about it, if you know someone who is always just saying things and their actions don’t line up with whatever they are saying, you’re going to think they are pretty unreliable right?

Beware of Fishers of Men
Remember the story, go and make fishers of men. Well, in case you forgot, the point was to teach a being how to finger quotes “fish” so they could fend for themselves. Think of it as a way to instill self-reliance into the simple-minded dumb-ass fragile human-beings walking around. A technique so they need not be a slave to any one or ever have to face lack. It was a gift.

Malibu Mansion
Waking up and going surfing sounds like my cup of tea. I wish I lived in a Malibu Mansion where I could walk in my back yard and it’s a garden attached to the beach with a gazebo with a fine view of the setting/rising sun. My house would have a garage with 24 sports car’s. 4 costing over a million dollars each! A Lamborghini, Camero, Corvette, Buggatti, and a Hemi Dodge Charger! My house’s interior would include an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, karate training room, weight room, multiple bathrooms, marijuana hydroponics system grow room, greenhouse, mycelium room for growing mushrooms that can be used to make food or medicine. A huge Garden! My garden will include chili pepper’s, Brussel sprouts, bell pepper’s, tomatoes, sunflowers, radishes, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, wild berries, strawberries, ground cherries, carrots, kale, chard, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. I want to have big garden but also make sure nothing goes to waste and I have a good soil nourishing and water recycling filtration system built to support it. I will have my own farmers market built in place so when I need to sell fruits and vegetables in the town. I’ll be conservative and only try and live off what I have already collected, bought, and planted. My house is 4 story’s tall and has 724 different empty rooms that have needed exploring yet. Some say my house is a remake of Rose Wood or seems similar to the house in the movie but isn’t haunted; just extremely large and crazy amount of rooms that get you lost into a maze of doors and hallways with steps going in every direction. The library of course is the best place to grab a nice fictional book and find a comfortable seat to read and find your happy place inside the story. Other than costs for maid expenses and cleaning expenses I only need to worry about what my room looks like anyways since the maid cleans all 724 rooms 7 days a week 24 hours a day anyways! The kitchen is the most busy place; that is where that dicing, chopping, shredding of meat, cheese, vegetables, herbs, bread, and greens are getting sautéed, baked or seared over a hot skillet pan. The kitchen has a bakery, a deli, and a barista with hotbar. In the kitchen a winery is located in it. Also the kitchen is connected to the wine celler. Elevators help get workers and maids around the mansion. I want all my trophies, awards, and future Grammy Awards up on my shelves. A 100 inch flat screen TV rests in the main room as you enter the house into what is called the living area, a big area where everyone meets up to talk about what needs to be done around the mansion and chill out like a club with a bar and auditorium sign up above.

Feet and mind wandering together
Breathe. Get yourself off the couch. Breathe. Put on clothes that make you feel comfortable. Breathe. Put on those sneakers you like so much. Breathe. Remember your jacket, it might be chilly. Breathe. Bring your journal, you might get struck by inspiration. Breathe. Unlock the door that has been closed for 3 days straight and open it up. Just breathe.
