Organisation for the whole year
I've always liked the idea of being organised I've just never been very good at it. No amount of diaries, calendars or apps could keep me in check more than a few weeks, by which point I ultimately had no idea what was going on. I'm a pretty forgetful person and I get very easily distracted which isn't very conducive to getting things done!

My Healing Journey
I started my journey broken. My heart was always in a million pieces. And like a puzzle I had to pick them all up and begin to heal. Past trauma, abusive marriage, narcissistic men, sexual abuse. I am Bi Polar 2, Complex PTSD, High Functioning ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Social Anxiety and more. This hindered my capability to be “normal”. So one day I decided to stay abnormal and see how it was.

WHY I CHOSE HAPPINESS
Sometimes the journey to happiness comes with various challenges that you have to overcome in order to attain that joy and peace of mind. Happiness doesn't have to be a struggle, its free and all you have to do is to use it the right way .I know sometimes it’s hard to find joy in the midst of everything wrong going on. When things are not going as planned and you are at a point of total frustration, confusion, anger and sadness, there are only two choices left which is to still find joy or let that anger and frustration defeat you (in simple words, happiness or sadness, positive or negative thoughts). You don't have to let those challenges weigh you down, instead fill your mind with good things, positive things and let your heart be at rest knowing that something good will come out of those challenges.

When I Found Out I Was Black
When I found out I was a Black woman….. It wasn’t until about two years ago that I found out I was a Black woman. I mean, if you look at me at face value, you will see all the beautiful features of a Black woman i.e. soft cocoa skin, rounded lips, profound nose and I can go on forever but you get the point. However, I did not identify as a Black woman, like I said until about two years ago. My very fair-skinned daughter, fed up with me, tells me, “Mom, I’m Black, you’re Black, watch this”. She gave me a documentary on the Black culture in Latin America specifically discussing the Dominican Republic and Haiti. I finally listened and watched it.

I am my painting
When I was a young girl, I didn't consider make-up as a passion, because for society, make-up was considered only in its futile aspect. It was considered so much as something superficial that it was inconceivable to be intellectual and take an intense interest in this distraction, reserved for frivolous people.

Umbrella Academy
If you need a Netflix show to watch, Umbrella Academy is a decent pick. It's fun, interesting, and pretty heartfelt. It has a good enough story line and development to keep you engaged. It follows a group of gifted siblings who learn to not only channel and use their powers for good but to actually become a family. Being all adopted by an extremely tough and somewhat astute father, these siblings grew up motivated by their gifted abilities thereby debilitating their relationship with one another. Will they ever become a family or remain more so as a boy band, bound to break up or go on a "hiatus"? (Looking at you 1D) It's basically a massive 'sibling check'.
