Only the Aries.
I'm to blame by country singer Kip Moore perfectly sums up the Aries' personality," where there is a do not touch my fingertips done stained it," the country singer croons. An Aries is the life of the party, everybody's best friend and sometimes a wild child. Aries are also known to have a moody side where they may become impatient, irritable, or even aggressive. However, like the statement made in Moores's song, an Aries will also jump straight out of the pan directly into the fire without stopping to think. Aries is large and in charge and always comes first. So, when the season's change and March begins, it's time for Aries to shine and you better be ready for a wild ride.

Fiction?
I want to start off by saying I’m not a comedian; I’m a writer. And this is a fiction piece, so please read it as such. Our tale begins on a normal day as most unordinary stories do. School was the number one priority because unlike the tower of Babel, I’m not going to just start speaking in fluent Spanish. Yes; “I” or me. I’m your protangonist. You may be thinking, the audacity of her to think of herself intriguing enough to play the lead! To that I say, do remember, dear reader, this is a work of fiction. For all you know, the character I’m portraying is nothing like myself! ( But for your sake, I’ll let you know that that isn’t the case.) I’m me and me is the same as “I” as I always am. And the day of our beginning has now begun, so let's continue.

Salvage Page
One night. One night I forgot this. One night I forgot all about this and never returned to the thought again. Grains of rice or dried beans or sand. The one in the many. One drop in an ocean. I read somewhere recently that morality is the we being present in the actions of the I. Change yourself to change the world. Make your bed if you want to change the world.

The consequences of loving others before loving yourself
I usually fight back when I see someone coming at me. I'm going to stop shielding myself and just let the stones hit me. I'll take the hit and try not to think about the pain as the stone leaves a bruised mark. As I see more stones being thrown at me, I'll just sit there and allow it to hit me in my head, my stomach, my forehead. Suddenly I start to bleed from all of the bruises. But it's ok. I don't need to be angry. I don't need to fight back. I'll just stand in the same place and take everything, every blow, every mean spirited words. Wait! The stones are getting larger, and they are coming from the back. I can't see where they are coming from, but the stones are larger. NO STOP! I can't take anymore, why are you throwing stones and hurting me?? Wait!!! Who else is there throwing larger stones? I can't see you!!! Let me run away now, I can't take it!! I get angry because all I see are bruises! The bruises hurt- it's hard for me to walk, but I'm trying to get away before more stones are thrown at my already bruised up body. I cry because of how the bruises hurt and sting from the forces of how the small and large stones are thrown at me. The bruises are there for a while- I run away, then out of nowhere-the large stones are being thrown at me and it connects and bruises me again, this time they are connected and I'm bleeding profusely and I scream at the top of my lungs and tell them to leave me alone!!!! Then I hear a person say, " I don't know why she's angry?" "Why is she so upset?" The bruises aren't that bad, I'm sure the stones don't even hurt that bad-she's exaggerating. We will stop for now, but we shall be back, and start again. Hopefully next time she'll just stand there like she use to do. It's so wonderful when she doesn't fight back and doesn't run away. I hear chatter on why is she crying? Why is she so upset now? We know she doesn't do anything to anyone but she always has to put her 2 cents in, she's always trying to make herself a better person and be educated and get the best jobs out there. She has another thing coming! She needs to stay right there where I can see her, and not progress in life ever. It makes me feel so good inside to see her suffer.

If You Only Knew
The day started like any other. I woke up starring at the ceiling, lying in bed waiting for my alarm to go off. I didn’t know it then, but this day wasn’t going to be just like all the rest. I began getting ready for the day and headed down to get my morning coffee. As I was heading down, I realized I hadn’t checked my mailbox in a few days. This was very unlike me, as checking for mail was one of the more exciting parts of my day. I had a ritual that before I open the mailbox and see what’s inside, I’d say “today is the day I get rich.” I’d always thought I was destined for a life of winning the lottery and doing whatever I wanted. I had this feeling my life was going to be greatly changed by a large sum of money one day. Obviously, this was a fantasy, and in the 27 years I had been alive nothing like this had ever happened. Nevertheless, I kept the dream alive when opening the mail… you just never know what might be inside.

Greater Joy
Greater Joy No good deed goes unpunished. For years Joy had written the names of those who blessed her, the people who had taken time to encourage or help her. There were only a few. But in her heart she wanted to bless their lives with what she called, “gems of joy.” But circumstances kept her locked in a box. She got up in the morning. She said her prayers. She took her shower and dressed. She then went to the same job that she'd been on for the past 26 years.

The Storage Unit
Frank got in the car and placed a black notebook in the passenger seat. He took his gratitude journal everywhere. As he cranked up the car, it made a turning sound but didn't start. He did it again with the same result. Looking up at the sky he closed his eyes and mumbled as he turned the key one more time. The engine made a sputter but the car was running. Frank smiled and said, "thanks girl" as he patted the top of the dashboard. He put the car in drive and drove away. Frank loved his 65 Mustang but it needed a lot of work. But recently he had fallen in love with this bright red pickup truck at the local car lot.

The Rising Leo
Many believe the positions of the planets, the stars, the sun, and the moon when someone is born will determine their personality. Others believe there is nothing more to it than which constellation was predominant in the sky on the day of one’s birth. But which is it really? Could we truly ever know?
