Texas Lifted the Mask Mandate
The motto for the state of Texas is, "Don't Mess With Texas". Though that motto was derived from a need to stop littering on highways, people attribute it to anything and everything these days. In 2021, Texas has proven that there is no need for anyone to "mess with Texas". Our government is capable of doing all the messing with Texas we can handle. Today Abbott lifted the ban on masks.

Virgo! Virgo! Calling All Virgos
From Paul Walker to Michael Jackson, may they RIP, Virgos have been gracing this world with an infinite amount of talent and awesomeness. There is no wonder that I am without a shadow of a doubt so proud to be a Virgo. I was even born a month early because I just couldn't see myself being a Libra. No offense to Libras I have quite a few Libra friends.

The Storage Unit
Frank got in the car and placed a black notebook in the passenger seat. He took his gratitude journal everywhere. As he cranked up the car, it made a turning sound but didn't start. He did it again with the same result. Looking up at the sky he closed his eyes and mumbled as he turned the key one more time. The engine made a sputter but the car was running. Frank smiled and said, "thanks girl" as he patted the top of the dashboard. He put the car in drive and drove away. Frank loved his 65 Mustang but it needed a lot of work. But recently he had fallen in love with this bright red pickup truck at the local car lot.

You're Just too Good to Be True
Ever since I was little girl I loved to listen to music. On my own I had my favorites but I was also exposed to my parent's favorites. Anita Baker was a staple in our home and car. I learned to love her and soon would sing every song word for word. I mean come on, how cool was she singing "Caught Up in the Rapture"? Her voice was so smooth and she executed every song with such passion and soul. "No One in the World" had a voice like her until Toni Braxton came along.
