Autumn Leaves
No matter what, I always detoured when driving so I could pass by that house and catch a glimpse of it. There was something fascinating and frightening at the same time about it. I had been looking for information about it, how to contact the owners and maybe convince them to sell it to me but my letters and phone calls were never answered, yet it seemed someone was taking care of it although not a soul was ever seen outside, or lights were ever turned on at sunset. I passed by at many different times hoping to see someone there to just having to continue driving without any luck.

Horiscope Pack Animal
Well, before I tell you about my sign I want to tell you a little bit about me. This way you can make an informed decision on whether or not the sign matches me. I am 35 years old. Life has been hard for me but I try to understand everyone's side of everything. I know that in a conflict both sides have a view point and to some extent both sides are right. Let's be honest from their prospective they are right. If they did not feel that they were right they would not fight. Though, I do acknowledge that some people tend to just like to fight to fight. Although in most cases my own family were not great to me; when I started a family of my own I decided I would do whatever it takes to protect and take care of them. I work many jobs to try to take care of my family. I love to be around trees and greenery. I enjoy being creative through writing, painting, drawing and occasionally crafts. I often ask for the advise of others to try to get a bigger picture of the situation; although I do not always follow the advise.

21 Jobs that Made Me Money, and 3 Takeaways for Graduates Entering the Workforce
How you make money is more important than how much money you make. As a career counselor and executive coach, I find people get fixated on one aspect of their story—their specific passion or unique strengths or educational background or prior experience or life goals. Then comes the question: What should I do? (I never answer that question for another person.)

Mr. Taylor's Little Black Book
Mr. Taylor’s Little Black Book : Purpose and Prosperity The radio on the side table blares….BEEP, BEEP, BEEP It’s 7 a.m. in the 478, rise and shine let’s get up and start this wonderful work day! Nikki groans loudly pulling her pillow back over her face as she dreads another day on the grind at her low-level job as a custodial worker for the Houston County Medical Center. Oh, how I hate Monday’s she sighs dragging herself out the bed and into the bathroom to get ready for work. Nikki stands in the mirror looking at her tired eyes swollen and red from crying all night while thinking about the stack of unpaid bills on her countertop in the kitchen. How had she gotten here; how did she sink this low? Six months ago Nikki was thriving. She was a top seller at her firm earning good commission and really getting on her feet. But like so many others, when the pandemic hit, she found herself out of a job and not enough savings to keep her afloat. Luckily, she had a friend, a nurse at the Houston County Medical Center who helped her get this part-time job in housekeeping, but it barely brought in enough to make rent. Her savings had dwindled, and she was already a month behind on her car payment. She felt helpless and scared. Nonetheless she knew she had to keep this job and try to get back on her feet. Nikki shakes the negative thoughts from her mind and tries to meditate on making her day a good one. She prays out loud, “Universe please favor me today, favor those I work with and please help Mr. Taylor get well so he can go home to his family.”

The Power of Words
Did you know that words are very powerful. They can either build up or tear down. Words are alive, they are active, and can be as sharp as a sword. It is important that we watch our words. Over the years I have met many people. Who have been held captive by someone’s words. People do not realise that sometimes they even curse themselves. When you say I am sick, depressed, angry et cetera you’re actually bring these things upon yourself. You are owning it. Not only is it important that we watch our words, but that we do not accept negative words , spoken over us. It can be so easily done. I have seen too many people crushed, by something that was said about them. There’s an old ,saying sticks and stones ,will break my bones, but names will never hurt me.That is a lie. People will heal from broken bones, in a matter of weeks. But people can live a life time, with things that have been said to them, at sometime in their life.

Finding myself
Since my last post, a lot has happened and not a lot has happened. I have been organizing and trying to get this apartment to my liking. I am settling down somewhat nicely. I keep forgetting how much I have accumulated over the last couple of years. I am attempting to get rid of as much as I can, and part with some things that I have put a lot of sentimentality on. It’s hard, but will totally be worth it.

Navigating Capricornhood
I still enjoy a little internal laugh when I think of the night my best friend, who was also newly my boyfriend, read my star signs. But before that, we, of course, had to read about our match. Him a Pisces and me a Capricorn, The book praised the give and take of artistic Pisces living in a fluid dreamy world and stoic, on edge mountain climbing Capricorn. The connection was said to be strong with a fluid balance. We got married only a couple of weeks later; I guess you could say he's my fish.

Self
Amani struggled to slow her breathing, and inhale the sharp, cool night air. She sat and looked up at the darkening sky, realizing that she could smell the various scents of the forest and appreciated the sweet green smell of the natural world around her. As sanity, lost by hours walking through these woods by herself began to return piece by piece, her thoughts turned towards the events that had led her here. To this moment.
