What to Do in 2018!
2018 is at the doorstep (or already here, depending on when you read this), but what will you do to make the year count? You've thought about it, but then also thought about what's for lunch...and then Nom Nom Nom. It seems silly to waste another year with the same old same old. Let me introduce you to some MEGA-awesome things to learn OR do to make 2018 feel like an achievement!

The conclusion of each year brings about reflection over the events of the introduction and body, as well as speculation over the approaching year. Many of us resolve to lose weight, make more money, or re-invent our personal or professional lives in some other way. Nevertheless, too often, many of us bid the year farewell in the same exact position as we greeted it.

There seems to be a lot of pressure put on people in this world to do great things in their lives. Perhaps it is because we have such endless access to information. Perhaps it is because the world desperately needs great people. Or perhaps we all just want to be remembered for something when our lives come to a close.

I've been there. I've been there lots of times, and it isn't fun. You have, too. You know what it's like to be doing everything you absolutely can and being just short of being enough. Like you are standing in an empty room with nothing but four walls and being asked to build a world with your bare hands. You're screaming for help in a world where the population is one. You're sitting in your car grasping the steering wheel wondering if it'd be easier to drive off a cliff. It feels like your God put in his two-week notice six months ago. Maybe it feels like you're running a race that's designed in a circle that goes round and round, and there is no prize at the finish line. Maybe not literally, but it feels like it.

How many times have you thought of pursuing something you have a fierce passion for, but then accept that it's most likely something you'd never be able to achieve?

Let me pull back the curtain a minute for a shot of inspiration, a dose of reality, and sort of a year-end summary as this is what I do behind the scenes.
Joel EisenbergPublished 6 years ago in MotivationHow to Find Your Life Purpose in 31 Days or Less...
“Life Purpose is where you are doing what you love, passionately, every single day of your life, and you’re getting paid to do it too.” Kellie Wynn 2017 We all need a purpose. We - and yes, I do mean all of us, no matter who you are - need to feel we have a reason to live. And without sounding a little egotistical, we also want to leave a little of ourselves behind when we pass over into the great unknown. We want our lives to mean something, and we want to give ourselves to others to help improve their lives. Can you just imagine what our world would be like if we all lived like this? So how do you live this life of purpose? It’s quite simple - Find out what you love to do and live it every, single, day of your life. But how do I find out what I love if I haven’t got a clue what it is? Good question my friend. And one I am going to help you answer throughout this daily series of Life Purpose Lessons – one for every day of January. It’s not enough that you figure out what it is you love to do. You’re going to come up against some serious negative hurdles which could stop you living your purpose. I’m going to teach you to navigate around some of the pitfalls you may come up against, and I’ll help you deal with self-sabotage. Because, the greatest enemy in all of this, who will strike you down and deny you success, is in fact - you! Why should you follow your life purpose? In a nutshell – if you don’t, you are going to be as miserable as hell. You will feel empty, incomplete and like you are living a lie. When you open the vessel inside you and acknowledge your passion, you’ll never be able to pop it back in a box and forget about it. It will keep knocking - driving you mad - until you acknowledge that it is a part of who you are. Every one of us was born with a purpose. Something that makes our soul sing with joy when we are in the throes of doing it. But – and this is a big but – not everyone finds their life purpose or looks for it or even lives by it. Which honestly breaks my heart. Why? “Because, how can you be genuinely happy if you’re not listening to what your body, mind, and soul are screaming at you to do?”

What are you most proud of this year? It's a hard question to answer, for many reasons. Maybe you think that you've achieved SO much in 2017 that it's hard to pinpoint what your biggest achievement is. Everything you've done is just so good. Well done, you.
BA QueenPublished 6 years ago in MotivationMy New Year's Resolutions for 2018
Alright, so it's that time of year where people make their resolutions for the New Year. We all say we're going to do this, we're going to do that, but then we never do half of the things we said we were going to do. I'm one of those people, but I still like to make that list so at least I know I'm working toward something at some point.

When you’re feeling unsure about life, what do you do to feel better? Unemployment, sickness, unwelcome drama, people, or just everything can weigh you down. I have been there, and I am still there. It can cause such sadness that getting up can be excruciating. But... it must be done.

How do you even begin? It seems as if everything you have is falling apart, or just not fitting into your lifestyle. Society loves to play its daily role in our lives: "Dress like this, and the guys will adore you!" "With opinions like that, you will never have friends." "I need to gain weight because the world loves thick girls now." How can you even be yourself if you don't have a support system?

It’s that time of year again. "New Year, New Me!" "I refuse to walk into 2018 with 2017 problems." I’ll go to bed earlier, I’ll wake up and workout now, yada yada yada.
