Sleep, Dream, Wake, Achieve

Aim for success.

Sleep, Dream, Wake, Achieve

How many times have you thought of pursuing something you have a fierce passion for, but then accept that it's most likely something you'd never be able to achieve?

Over the years there have been many motivational speakers whose words are far more powerful than mine. But I'm going to release my words all the same. Why? Because I can.

Your success in anything you do is bound not by whether you can or can not, but by whether you will or will not. These are my own words of wisdom that I will pass on to my children as part of the next generation who will likely grow up in a world where too many people give up on their dreams, or worse yet don't even attempt to chase them.

Too many people including myself are too lazy. They say they want to have lots of money or become successful or famous or whatever. But most are too lazy to do what's necessary in order to make what they want what they have.

I'm not trying to say that in order to make money you have to give it your all, because people with average jobs, earning an average wage in their average life most likely don't give it everything they possibly can. Instead they do what's comfortable enough for them to get by.

I'm talking about doing things that will place you above average. People who are living their dreams are the ones who had to grind at their craft.

My favourite motivational speaker is Eric Thomas. You may know him from the "You must want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe" speech. Some people I've shown that video say he goes too far, making points on how you need to go without food or sleep to be successful. But they missed the point. The point was you have to be so immersed in becoming successful that you sometimes forget to do basic things like eat and sleep.

While some people are sleeping, others are awake becoming successful.

The point of you reading this is because if you're someone like me who has a fierce determination to achieve a goal or dream of theirs, then I want you to go from "kinda" wanting to be successful, to "need" to be successful.

For some people in some parts of the world I know it's so much harder than I'm making it sound, but you're the ones with a real reason to never give up; you have true motivation.

A lot of these motivational speakers say it's much easier to succeed in chasing your dream, if you have a clear goal in mind. If you know exactly what it is you want and how you're going to get it, then it'll be so much easier for you. All you'd need to do is work for it, no matter how long it takes, how hard it pushes you to your limits or how much people doubt your ability. You can do anything you set your mind to.

But it's like I said at the beginning. Your success isn't bound by whether you can or can not. So if you truly want to succeed in life, don't tell yourself that you "can" do something because you already know you can do anything. Instead, tell yourself you "will" do it.

Tell yourself you will go to the gym, tell yourself you will study more and harder, tell yourself you will succeed, and your success will your reward.
