Best Emotional Story Of Lionel Mess (Leo)

This will make you cry and happy

By Bashir NdawulaPublished about a year ago 3 min read

Lionel Messi, also known as Leo, is one of the greatest football players of all time. Born in Rosario, Argentina, on June 24, 1987, Messi's life was full of challenges from an early age. But he overcame those challenges to become one of the most successful athletes in the world.

Messi was born into a family of modest means. His father, Jorge, was a factory steel worker, and his mother, Celia, worked as a part-time cleaner. Messi was the third of four children, and his family struggled to make ends meet. But Messi's talent for football was evident from an early age.

Messi started playing football at the age of five, and by the time he was eight, he had joined the youth team of the local football club, Grandoli. However, at the age of 11, Messi was diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency, a condition that would have prevented him from growing taller than 4'7". His family couldn't afford the $900 a month treatment, and Messi's career seemed to be over before it had even begun.

But Messi's talent couldn't be ignored, and he caught the eye of FC Barcelona's scouts during a youth tournament in Spain. Barcelona offered to pay for Messi's medical treatment and bring him to Spain to play for their youth team, La Masia. Messi and his family moved to Spain in 2000, and Messi's career took off.

Messi's talent was immediately apparent, and he quickly rose through the ranks of Barcelona's youth teams. He made his first-team debut in 2004 at the age of 17, and by 2006, he was a regular starter for the team. Messi quickly established himself as one of the best players in the world, with his incredible speed, dribbling skills, and goal-scoring ability.

Messi's success on the field, however, was not without its challenges. In 2010, Messi suffered a series of injuries that kept him out of the game for months. He struggled to regain his form after his injuries, and many wondered if he would ever be the same player again. But Messi refused to give up, and he worked tirelessly to regain his fitness and form.

In 2012, Messi had one of his best seasons yet, scoring a record-breaking 91 goals in a single calendar year. He was named the FIFA World Player of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, and he led Barcelona to the La Liga title.

Messi's success continued in the years that followed. He won the FIFA Ballon d'Or (the award for the best player in the world) for four consecutive years, from 2010 to 2013. He also led Barcelona to numerous victories, including the UEFA Champions League, the Copa del Rey, and the La Liga title.

But Messi's success on the field wasn't the only thing that made him a legend. He also used his platform to make a difference in the world. In 2007, he established the Leo Messi Foundation, which provides health and education assistance to children in need around the world. He has also been an ambassador for UNICEF since 2010, working to promote children's rights and well-being.

Despite his success, Messi has faced some challenges off the field as well. In 2013, he and his father were accused of tax fraud, and Messi was sentenced to 21 months in prison (which was later reduced to a fine). The experience was difficult for Messi, who had always tried to stay out of the public eye.

But Messi refused to let the incident define him. He continued to play at the highest level, and he continued to use his platform to make a difference in the world. He has also been
