There are a lot of things that our moon signs can tell us if you dive deep into the meanings of each sign. One of the things we think you should look into is what self-care you should focus on for your particular moon sign, and rather than making you do all the research, we're doing it for you!

Slow Down, Aries

Fiery Aries is all about impulsivity. When it comes to your moon in Aries, you want to go with your emotions as they come at you. If you're having a bad day, you may be ready to burn things down. On a good day, you're bouncing up and down with the energy of a five-year-old.

What Aries moon really needs when it comes to self-care is to look for balance in these moods. One of the best ways we know for balancing is meditation. However, if sitting in silence for a few minutes seems too boring for you, try yoga or do a walking meditation in a labyrinth – these things allow you to stay moving so you can burn off some of that fire energy you've built up in happiness or anger.

Relax, Taurus

Earthy Taurus is pretty grounded as is, so meditation isn't something they need to lean into as much as a sign with as much energy as Aries. If your moon sign is Taurus, finding more comfort in life is what you strive for.

What can you think of that offers more relaxation and comfort than a hot soak in the tub? This is what we suggest for you, dear Taurus. Grab some Epsom salts, dried lavender or lavender oil, perhaps some dried chamomile flowers, and any other natural scents that make you personally feel relaxed. Set up some candles, put on some soothing tunes, and grab a bath pillow.

Enjoy some me-time, Gemini

Airy Gemini is one of the most chatty of the zodiac, and when we're focusing on Gemini as the moon sign, it's all about knowledge. One of the reasons Gemini's love to talk is that they want to learn everything they can about you. Sometimes they'll use this knowledge for nefarious reasons, especially if you get on their bad side.

When it comes to self-care, Gemini really requires some time in silence. Yes, we know you're a social butterfly who thrives on other people's energy, but you should learn to enjoy time with yourself as well. Our suggestion – start writing in a diary or journal! You may even come up with some fun new topics for the next time you get together with your friends.

Get out there, Cancer

Cancer is one of the most emotional of the zodiac signs. As a water sign, Cancer is intuitive, connected, and can go from happy to sad in the blink of an eye. Moon or Sun sign, cancer is ruled by the need to be one with their family (blood or chosen) and they cry a lot.

Your self-care recommendation is to find a group of like-minded folks you can get together with once a month, or more often if you prefer. If you're struggling with alcohol, head to an AA meeting. If you like to make crafts and aren't struggling with life, sign up for some art classes. Whatever you do, get out there and expand your friend circle.

Stop running, Leo

Creative Leo wants to have fun and enjoy life. That sun energy of this zodiac pushes the fiery sign to get up and get things done. “Work hard and play hard” would be a good motto for this sign, whether it's your moon or sun sign.

As far as self-care goes, we want you to stop running yourself ragged and take a breather. When you've been working and playing too hard for too long, it can start to wear you out. Take a break every now and then and go soak in a hot tub, spend some time in a sauna, or just sit back and meditate in silence and wind down.

Virgo is one of those signs that doesn't mind change, in fact, you likely thrive on it. When it comes to a Virgo moon sign, not getting the change and variety you long for can mess with your emotions in a deep way.

Virgo moon, what you need to do for self-care is something different – make a change, learn something new. It can be something as simple as rearranging the living room, or something as complex as taking a class to learn something you know nothing about.

Communicative and leadership-focused, Libra moon makes you want to help others in all the ways. You want to be the one in charge, telling others how they can better their lives – and talk? You're an expert at talking.

Your self-care need, Libra moon, is to get better at talking to yourself in a kind way. You get too busy leading others and forget to lead yourself. Now is a great time to write some affirmations that remind you of how important you are in the lives of those you help and lead.

Connect spiritually, Scorpio

Water-sign Scorpio often gets a bad rap because they are quiet and mysterious. They're also often mistaken as a fire sign. Here, we look at Sagittarius as one of the most outgoing signs of the zodiac. Even if it's your moon sign, you'll feel that adventurous and intense energy. Sagittarius folks are often extremely positive and happy – even when life is throwing lemons at them.

Our self-care advice for you is to take that positive energy of yours and spread it around. Sagittarius moons can sometimes get lost within themselves, and it's important that you get out there are share your gifts with others – make them laugh, make them smile – you know you have the skills.

Take a day off already, Capricorn

Most of us already know Capricorn as the workaholics of the zodiac. Even with a Capricorn moon, you are likely to be very work and business-oriented. An earth sign, you are definitely grounded, but you are grounded in work, rather than the comfort Taurus seeks out.

And, speaking of relaxed Taurus, our suggestion is to take a cue from them and take a break. Give yourself one day off a month, at least, where you make no important plans. Don't clean the house, don't run errands, just do things that help you feel relaxed, like vegging out with your favorite video game.

Fly away, Aquarius

Our final air sign, Aquarius suns seek adventure in life – while they enjoy communicating, they prefer learning on the go. When it comes to Aquarius moon, your big focus is learning from the people around you, no matter where you are traveling to.

Your self-care advice, Aquarius moon, is to pick a new destination where you can learn about things you don't already know. Head somewhere new, whether it's someplace you can drive to within a day or someplace you need to fly to.

Take a nap, Pisces

There's a chance you're an emotional mess far too often, Pisces, especially if your moon is in Pisces. As the last sign of the zodiac, you've got a little bit of every other sign in you, and that can make life exciting and stressful.

You're very connected to the spiritual side of things, so we think you probably already spend a lot of time meditating, otherwise, we'd have suggested that. Instead, we think it's time for you to take a nap. It doesn't matter what time it is or whether you've accomplished anything today – just go lie down and relax.
