Mentality Is Everything

Creating a Positive Life

All too often as humans we are faced with day-to-day trials that can either cause our destruction or send us to the highest peaks of our lifetime. What’s critical is to not lose sight of our own importance on this earth. Yes, we all come face to face with struggles that can lead us to drinking, drugs, sex, and anything to sterilize our thoughts of reality. We can also be too overbearing and critical of ourselves as individuals, maybe think way too highly of ourselves and take a massive blow if someone says otherwise. This can be both extremely damaging and rewarding to our relationships, personalities, communities, and so forth. Sometimes the recovery is harder than the mishap itself. We, as people, should remember that me make a imprint on each and every person we come in contact with on a daily basis. Even if it’s just a simple smile or a wave to someone you don’t know. Everything you do impacts everyone in some way or another. There needs to be a balance in everything on earth. You can think the same about your person. You need balance. Your own stability and self-worth. No one person or thing can give you these qualities. They are earned through experience and knowledge. You can’t expect a baby to be born knowing how to dress itself, or a two-year-old how to drive a car. Why place such expectations on yourself then? You try, fail, and try again to succeed. With that being said, should you find yourself not feeling your most optimistic and best self, I offer my go-to's as a vice to aid in a complete and total rejuvenating process.

Get some fresh air every day, go to a park, and enjoy the sounds of the trees. Listen to the birds chirp and watch the sky for butterflies. How long has it been since you looked at the clouds and found an elephant playing a trumpet? Or a dog wearing a hat? Do you remember playing as a child? Laughing for no reason other than life is fun? At home, light some candles and incenses or diffuser with your favorite scents. Listen to nature sounds, or uplifting music. Enjoy a warm cup of coffee or tea (chamomile and eucalyptus for me), get yourself a hammock, and read a book!

Now, since you’ve gotten some ideas on how to recover from a mishap and unwind, remember this: Everyone makes mistakes. No one on this earth is perfect. Perfect is overrated and never grows. Making mistakes is an opportunity to grow as an individual. Never assume you can’t learn more than you already know. Knowledge IS power. Believe in yourself and be your own number one fan. Be accepting that you have flaws, but they are beautiful. Be motivated to transform your self into more than you would expect. It’s truly a mindset. If you speak and believe defeat. Then you’ll be defeated. If you speak positive and act with love then you’ll be rewarded through all acts of kinds, and you’ll start seeing the good for the bad. You cannot let your now emotions control your future. Promoting fear and harmful emotions are all a mentality. When you break the cycle of thoughts. You’ll be prosperous in all.

If we run from the rain. We won’t see our rainbow.

Whether you can or you can’t. You’re right.

Mistakes come every day and choosing to learn from them and move forward is your adventure.
