How Tonsils is diagnosed – How to identify tonsils?

Test for Tonsils : Your doctor will thoroughly examine your throat to identify tonsils. To do this test, the doctor will take a small sample from the back of your throat and this sample will be sent to the laboratory. By testing this sample, it will be known that what is the real reason behind your throat infection or tonsils swelling.

Apart from this, your doctor can also do your blood cell count. In this, he will take a small amount of your blood to count certain types of blood cells, complete information about the infection can be obtained from this sample. If the sample taken is not correct, then accordingly your doctor will prescribe the right treatment for you.

Treatment of Tonsils

There is no such special need for treatment in very mild tonsils , especially those caused by cold virus.

If the tonsils are a bit more then you can take antibiotics or tonsillectomy for this.

Antibiotics are given to fight any kind of bacterial infection, it is important that you complete the course. In addition, your doctor will also check from time to time how effective these medicines are.

The process of surgically treating the tonsils is called tonsillectomy. Earlier it used to be a common procedure for the treatment of tonsils. Nowadays tonsillectomy is recommended only for the treatment of chronic or recurring tonsils. Apart from this, surgery is advised when no treatment is effective or there is any kind of problem.

If dehydration occurs due to tonsillitis, intravenous fluids are given. To reduce swelling in the throat, pain medicine also provides relief.

Salt water: Gargling with lukewarm water is the best and easiest way to treat tonsils. The warm water soothes swollen tonsils and the salt helps kill bacteria and germs. At the same time, salt also works for burning sensation in the mouth and provides relief.

Tulsi: Holy Tulsi is a unique and unique remedy to cure tonsils . Tulsi has antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce inflammation and provide relief from pain. Drinking a drink made by boiling basil and containing 2 grams of black pepper provides relief. Apart from this, this drink improves your immunity and acts as an antibacterial agent.

To correct tonsils , gargling with 1/2 teaspoon turmeric and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a glass of warm water provides relief in tonsils. Adopting this recipe before sleeping at night gives very good results .

You can also use milk instead of water. Drinking turmeric milk at night also cures tonsils in 2-3 days.

Fenugreek: Fenugreek has antibacterial guns which make it an excellent remedy to treat tonsils as it can fight against the bacteria responsible for tonsillitis. Moreover, the anti-inflammatory properties present in fenugreek will give you instant relief from pain and inflammation.

Fluids: Drinking plenty of fluids can prevent the throat from drying out and becoming more uncomfortable. When the body is fighting an infection, it needs more hydration than usual. In such a situation, hot, caffeine-free drinks can also provide relief in tonsils.

Many times the swelling of Tonsils becomes the cause of difficulty in breathing and sometimes there is also difficulty in sleeping.
