If you're feeling a little overweight, or just want to drop your popping gut without the excessive energy waste of exercising, than yoga's perfect for you.

Basically a series of intense breathing and stretching routines, yoga focuses not only on your physical mind, but your mental relaxation as well, which makes it the perfect before or even after work reliever. Better yet, these yoga positions will rejuvenate you in more ways than one.

So, want to lose some pounds and feel great after? Try out some of the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated. They'll clear up your blocked chakras, plus they will make you feel amazing in your own skin. What else can you ask for?

Uttanasana

In the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated, Uttanasana (or Standing Forward Bend), gives your neck and beak a break from everyday stress buildup, while also offering your neck some wiggle room in strength.

You performed this maneuver in almost every gym class or before any sporting event. Simply stand with your feet slightly separated and bend. Reach down to the floor, holding this position for up to four minutes of breathing before returning back to normalcy.

If you can't reach the floor, which I can't do sometimes so don't fret, place a block or pillow where your hands would go, so as to keep the pose and to relieve stress naturally.

Setu Bandha Sarvangasana

One of the sexier and more mild of positions involves the Bridge Pose, more commonly known as Setu Bandha Sarvangasana.

To perform, start on your back with your knees bent skyward. Keep arms, hands, and feet on the ground at all times, while you slowly move your hips up and stretch out that core for five long breaths.

One way to get the full potential from this pose is by keeping your hands interlocked under your back as you open up your chest skyward. This one's great for blood flow and energy, making it one of the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated.

Balasana

One of the most memorable or well-known of all in the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated, the Child's Pose brings yogis back to their inner child.

Start on your knees and feet, spacing your legs apart widely, then lean forward. Stretch your arms out before you, as if in prayer, and as you keep that back perfectly straight, bend your forehead to the floor.

Five to ten easy breaths will make this wonderful addition the most relaxing form of position you have ever experienced. If you need some yoga to release stress, then the Child's Pose is perfect for you.

Marjaryasana and Bitilasana

As an all-around position that targets your spine, back and neck, these subsequent techniques can give you a better stance and ensure healthy ligaments in the future.

Cat and Cow begins on your hands and knees, followed by a long inhale as you engage your abs, then exhale, dropping your head slightly forward and moving into the Cat Pose. Keep your back straight, to deter from spinal injury as you round your spine, arching your back with an inhale. Lift your butt and head up skyward for Cow.

Repeat this maneuver for multiple sequences, connecting your inhale with cow pose as you exhale with the cat pose. One of the most relieving and versatile in the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated, Cat and Cow always proves of re-energizing the body and reanimating focus in the mind.

Navasana

Meaning Boat Pose, Navasana utilizes both core and back to bring you the perfection needed in the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated.

Sit on a yoga mat and rest your hands beneath your thighs, then lift your left shin parallel to the floor. As you're doing so, remember to keep your back as straight as possible, pulling your navel into your spine for a good long stretch, lowering your left leg before rising your right.

Perform this pose sequentially from left to right for a total of 10 times. It's sure to give your back an ethereal feel, in addition to really working your core in the process.

Paschimottanasana

By directly working your stress and digestion, the Seated Forward Bend pose exhibits all-body relief when performed properly.

Sit on a yoga mat with your legs out in front of you. Using your hips and keeping your back straight, lean forward and lower your torso toward your leg. Take five long breaths before releasing.

As one of the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated, Paschimottanasana is the most important position for those in dire need of relaxation, both mental and physical.

Apanasana

Despite the unappealing translation of Wind Reliving Pose in Sanskrit, Apanasana assists the body by decreasing flatulence and bloating pains.

Laying on your spine, bring your knees up to meet your chest, then gently roll your lower back in a messaging motion. Maximize your stretch by taking five long breaths before lowering your left leg to the ground and pushing unwanted stresses out through your foot.

Complete the process on opposite side to reach the full potential of the most eccentric position in the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated.

Burrito Pose

While you may want to stay away from the actual food form of this one, bloated yogis can achieve both inner congruence and reduced weight loss with the Burrito Pose.

To perform this move, first roll up a towel and place it under your navel, but keep it away from your hip bones. It might also be easier to place a block where your forehead can rest. Lower yourself to the floor with slow, natural breathing, then lay your arms and body face down on the mat, keeping your neck straight and elongated, while also slacking your whole body into relaxation.

Rest here for one to two minutes, all the while enjoying that savory, yet imaginary burrito in your mind. While it may be one of the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated, it also might be the most tempting.

Bow Pose

The Bow Pose is exceptional for bad backs and bloating. It stretches you outward, stressing such muscles as your core and torso, while also keeping your mind at ease. It wouldn't be in the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated for nothing.

Begin while laying face down on the floor. Slowly bring both your legs and arms up and over your body. Once you're grasping your ankles, breathing all the while, keep your toes together and edge your weight forward, bringing your body up to rest on your naval.

Hold this for five deep breaths, then release. You will find that your body is much more open and freed after opening up the highly ignored joints in your midsection and ligaments.

Open Triangle

This one's rather easy, but don't let that be a discouraging factor, because it is still a part of the best yoga poses to do if you're bloated. The Triangle Pose greatly helps to rebuild mobility and targets your flexibility in motion.

Start off standing straight on the mat, then bring your right foot forward between your hands, followed by opening your hips, chest and arms. Keep your legs straight as you reach your right hand out over your right leg, then lower to the floor or mat. Remain in this position for five wonderful breaths.

By opening up the intestinal block and stretching needy interior blockages, open triangle pursues to give you a more fitting renewal and rejuvenation in the form of decreased bloating.
