All you need is Love, and Love is all you need.
First Love Is It Real Love?
What did I know about love when I was seventeen years old or twenty-one years old ? Twenty-four years old or thirty? Let us be honest what do we know at even forty years old about love? Love is always changing, Love is always growing, Love is always difficult and hard , but it is also so rewarding when you find the right person that you can love and be in love with for the rest of your life. Not everybody has that ,not everybody gets to spend Valentine's Day with a special someone . Some people go to a bar to try and pick up somebody just so they can have a date on Valentine's Day . Let us be honest do you know everything about love? Nah, I do not either, my husband does not, my best friend does not, her fiance sure the hell does not, my father sure does not, trust me if he did he would not have been married four times . I will tell you what I do know though . I know that when you find somebody that you are willing to go through the darkest of days for, when you find somebody who you are willing to go through all the bad stuff with that person instead of being with somebody else because it is just easy, that my friend... that is love. When you are willing to put up with shitty behaviors and in-laws that do not like you, kids that do not like you , that is love. Maybe you are a step parent and you have step kids that do not like you or your spouse's sister or brother do not like you, but you stick through it for that person that is love.

I Want You Forever?
I want you forever. It doesn't mean we're stuck together. It only means there is no point for me to look for someone else because I have you. If The Fault in Our Stars ever taught me anything, it's that you could give someone an eternal amount of happiness within a mere number of days. And you, my love, you gave me forever the moment I met you.

Where we started
The three couples dated through the first two years of high school and spent a lot of time together. During the school year, they would spend most weekends doing things as a group. They would go to movies, attend school dances, or hang out at the mall or each other's houses. They all became good friends, including Robert and Maryanne. She was growing into the woman she would become, and Robert thought she was becoming more beautiful every time he saw her.

An Intelligent Perspective On Love
Intro This isn't an answer to the age-old question "what is love?" Rather, I simply want to lay out a perspective on love that's formed from an intelligent approach. Why? Because I feel as if many people have already explained love through the lenses of poetry, philosophy, and writing, and because I feel like a perspective like this is refreshing/helpful for obtaining and retaining a high level of wellbeing.

The Affair
Michelle pulls the door shut behind her as she collapses into the driver's seat of her car. Pent up tears she'd barely contained in the private detective's office she's just left run down her cheeks, spilling onto the file folder containing the results of the investigation into her husband. The stunned silence in the car coupled with her conflicting emotions freeze time; she stares out of the windshield ahead and sees absolutely nothing.

Finding Us
Robert, upset by the flight delay but thankful he’d forgotten his wallet at the hotel on the day of the accident, decided to look for a place to buy a cell phone at the airport. John, always the planner, told Robert that he always kept a card in his wallet with a list of important phone numbers whenever he travelled. He said that Robert should do the same, just in case something bad ever happened. Robert was thankful that he took John's advice when he arrived at Hong Kong airport. When he first found out about the delay, he tried using a payphone to call Maryanne. He tried several times, but the calls kept dropping before he could get through.

The History of My Hands
When I was a girl of about six years of age, I used to stand at my Grandmother’s side, watching her hands deftly peeling an apple in one long strip. I couldn’t wait for it to break off so that I could eat it. My little hands would push the peeling into my mouth like a chipmunk stockpiling nuts in his cheeks.

Her Studio
I can see it on your face. You walk in the door and are bombarded by a painfully white room with a concrete floor. As you walk toward the center of the room you notice areas where the paint is more thickly splattered and more condensed. You realize these are the spaces where I have worked on a particular piece. The light is probably different there, or even the mood or the energy or all of the above.

Release
He drove home in silence, his face like stone. The anger, hate, and sadness swelled inside of him but he knew he needed to be truly alone before he could let it out. The pain had been building for weeks, and each day he had to put a mask on to hide it from his friends, coworkers, and family. The mask only made the pain continue to grow. He had begun to wonder if the mask was for them, or for himself. Maybe if he could lie long enough, to tell himself and everyone that he was ok, then he would eventually be ok.
