The letters LGBTQ are just another way of saying that Love is Love.
Right In front of you is love
Happy to just enjoy my vacation it was all coming to an end so quickly. We all did our shopping and now were walking down the grand marble stairs laced with brass that I could swear was gold. Wow, I had to pause for a moment and let it all sink in. This was the happiest I've been in a while. Just me hanging out with my two best friends Desmond and Travik watching them fight over this guy. Well, I wouldn't call it fighting. Me and Zalika watched as they both played cat and mouse with her new friend, Vat. His dark creamy skin and green passionate oval eyes and strong bone structure just put Desmond in a fit. He spent half his day just abrasively hitting on poor Vat who politely would disregard his advances. Honestly I think Vat seemed more interested in Travik than anything. I watched as he would occasionally glance over to Travik trying to engage him in conversation between the swats of attention grabbing from Desmond, but that's how it was with Travik and Desmond.

Discovering the Rainbow Within
For years, fourteen to be exact, I was the “perfect” little girl. I kept my head down, grades up, and legs closed. I stayed in this small room that had been chosen and designed for me by everyone else, without any regard to me or my heart's desire. The room was quaint and cozy, so I just closed my eyes and covered my ears, that way I could not hear the screams of the girl within me that wanted to be set free. You see...she was the me that I was not ready to be, because I thought I had to be someone else to please everyone else. Little did I know...little did I know.

What Having A Trans Best Friend Taught Me About Life
I have Trans best friends. This carries weight, speculation, and misinterpretations. That’s okay. I’ve always gravitated towards the different, the uncommon, and the unconventional. After surviving extreme torment from bullies growing up (I grew up with severe food allergies, went into anaphylaxis 3 times, and covered with disfiguring eczema/psoriasis), I knew what it meant to be “othered” on many levels.

Cydkney’s Diary
Preface I need to let this be known now, if you don't like hearing the untold truth of what Trans Women of Color like myself have to go thru on a daily basis. This is not the book for you to read. We are constantly being overlooked and stepped on. We as trans women are being target, slaughtered, and carted away like we mean nothing, and until this world realizes that we are TRANS but not TRANSLUCENT to the world we are subjected to live in, we will continue to break every single boundary that we are subjected to endure. Thank you to everyone who has ever supported me.

Hurting My Own Heart
Have you ever fallen in love with two people at the same time? It’s like you looked at them and instantly you knew what the future would be like. Their eyes, personality and everything else about them makes you fall in love with them even more. You may ask “what’s wrong with being in love with both of them?” and the answer to that is they’re siblings.

Winter Doubles
Cold surrounded us but there was nothing we could do about it. It's winter and neither one of us thought to bring a coat. Standing across from me Michelle waited for her moment as she watched people going by. When she's looking round it usually means she waiting to scream or shout and all I hoped was she wasn’t going to start yelling at me, because that usually lasted for hours.

A New Years resolution
I once knew this boy who liked pretty things. He’d love to wear them play with them and imagine he was them. He would go into his moms closet grab her purple pumps she wore once to an 80s party. Then run out of closet and copy Tracy Turnblad doing the mash potatoe on Hairspray. Once he got caught using his moms expensive makeup, he was not a very good makeup artist. So his Mom came in and just about almost killed him because it was all over his face and the tv. After he had a bath he would ask his mom to put the towel like she did especially on the top of his head.

ARIÆ LUV
I had been planning to audition for Ru Paul’s Drag Race for the past several seasons, thanks to COVID, and a little inspiration from one of my exes, I finally submitted a request for an audition. My ex just had an audition with one of the prime time game shows and the odds were looking great for him to be on the actual show. I know I have what it takes to win the season, but I am fueled by winning the crown, and more importantly, meeting my real mama:

A Late Bloomer
I am a late bloomer. A 31 yr old late bloomer when it comes to choosing the same sex for love. I kept it hidden for a very long time as I was sent to Christian school. Of course, that is where it is forbidden or whatever to think such thoughts. So? I did away with it out of fear. Completely stupid, but I was a child; highly vulnerable and still had much to learn. I did not have anyone telling me loving another female was okay. I had people in my family that chose that lifestyle, and coming up, I honestly did not look at them any different than the next mf. I did not know how to. Ignorant people really act like we're aliens or something and that type of bullshit is seen and learned. Then it tears my stomach up how people play with the shit and make it harder for people really on the shit to step out. Like I want to have a gf just to make such and such jealous, or to make such and such notice me. That's that BULL.

Today's Don't Ask, Don't Tell
In 2011, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" came to an end allowing the country to close the book on a discriminatory practice that forced men and women who were committed to serving their Nation's military to live in silence. Under this policy, gay people who wanted to join the military would no longer be forced to lie about their sexual orientation. However, they were not permitted to disclose their sexuality. Promoted as a bargain between the Clinton Administration, military leadership, and Congress, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT) was met with outrage from many LGBT advocates. Who felt the new policy was simply a new version of the past bans on LGBT individuals in the military. Many of DADT's opponents believed this policy involved marginal progress and was considered a step back from the complete integration of LGBT service members.
