friendship
C.S Lewis got it right: friendship is born when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one!"
Holy Water
“Someone ran away with her innocence.” From the first time I heard the song “Holy Water” by country powerhouse duo “Big & Rich”, it reached out and grabbed me by the heart. I listen to a lot of music; it’s my companion as I go through the day. Seldom does a song catch my attention like this one.

My lovely day
Waking up to the knowledge that today is not only your day off but also International Women's Day is truly wonderful. On the 8th of March, International Women's Day is commemorated worldwide, celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Originating from early 20th-century labor movements, this day serves as a call to action for gender equality and women's rights. It is a time to recognize the progress made, but also to acknowledge the ongoing struggles and barriers that women face globally. Through various events, campaigns, and initiatives, International Women's Day fosters solidarity and empowers women to continue advocating for their rights and striving for a more equitable and inclusive society.

Don't Be Afraid of the Old
Age is a gift of the genes. Age is also a gift of luck. We all know folks who at 60 are old. They may look old, they can act old, they are old. The old were lucky to avoid accidents and fatal illnesses. Do you know elderly people? That word alone can make Gen X, Gen Z, and Millenials cringe.

The Ten that Lost their Zen
There's such a thing with mystery. It gives curiosity and wonderment. Nowadays mystery becomes only for those in introduction. whether you are meeting someone new or getting to know someone. The idea of figuring out someone early on is both frightening and beautiful because you want to know more. The more you learn about someone the more you either want to see more of them or create distance. The more you grow into this world the more aware of the world that comes to your way, The things that hide in the shadows blooms more into what we hide behind from our insecurities.

The Dragon Beside Me - A Fellow Vocal Writer
Roughly two years ago, I was singing by a piano at a local church that I was attending at the time. Honestly, I don't remember the song that I was singing, but in came through the doors, a radiant, beautiful lady dragon. Tears poured down from her eyes. It seemed as if she was recovering from heartbreak but also experiencing new found joy too. Her emotions were intense, raw, and genuine. Feeling compassion for this lady dragon, even though she was a stranger, and we'd just met that day, I wrote her a little letter. I wanted her to know that God really cared for her and knew her inner sorrows and pain. I wanted her to know that God treasured her tears in bottles and that they were not unseen or wasted in His eyes.
