The Story of How Lindsey and Stevie First Met
I’ve never understood those people who try to come across as elite wine connoisseurs when, in fact, they are nothing but posers. After all, a rare few have the depth of knowledge that a Master Sommelier has, having earned themselves the title of essentially knowing everything there is to know about wine. Theirs is an artform really, one that involves intense years of studying, tasting, and traveling.

An old fashioned type of romance
Is dating ever easy when your extremely old fashioned? The answer is no, most definitely no. I often wondered if I was born in the wrong century because I believed when your courting a woman, well to sum it up, wine, dine, and have a good time.

The Face. Top Story - March 2021.
When I walk through my front door at 9:42pm, I don’t stop to take my coat off. I don’t put my keys in the bowl or throw my bag on the floor. I don’t even shout a hello to Dylan. I go straight to the bathroom, turn on the shower, crank up the temperature as high as I can bear it and jump in. I stand under the gushing water, grateful for the power behind it as it washes the horror that was this evening off my body. My skin is still crawling twenty minutes later.

Sidelines
I think Wednesdays are boring. It's not the beginning of the week anymore, but not the weekend either, the stupid in between. Completely pointless, I thought, Or at least they used to be, until one day. I was at my high school locker putting away my textbooks from Math class and retrieving my American Literature ones when I noticed something on the front. A yellow sticky note with my name on it. I flipped it over only to find a time and location, no signature.

Dream Date
Let me tell you something, dating in your thirties blows. Sure, sure, thirty is the new twenty and pink is the new black and what not. But if we’re being honest here finding a man in your thirties is like finding a decent pumpkin on Halloween morning. Yeah, the shelves might have one or two that are seemingly free of rot. But at closer look you find just beneath that pretty, fleshy, surface is an inside writhing with decay.

Lets Get Merlot
It all started when i was chosen to get a balloon put between my legs and popped by a stranger and got hitched in front of 500 other strangers. Yes this story begins at my first rocky horror live show. The guy i wed that night asked me out on a date

The Last Back-To-School Night
Truly this all felt surreal. Jade stood in the doorway of Mr. Lasso’s room in awe of the fact that all four of her children enjoyed this man and his classes for their High School years, and this was the final time she would sit through a back-to-school night. There was an immense relief, there was always a love for these nights since she herself was a student in this school district and a lot of the teachers remained the same. When her husband Peter died, it took some of the fun out of walking down memory lane. Jade and Peter Stallmen were a pair since they were 12 years old. They graduated from this high school and immediately married subsequently starting their family. At nineteen they became parents, two boys back to back and then three years after that twin girls. She became a widow at 37, when her oldest was graduating high school and now at 42 her youngest two were on their way. She took her seat, being the first one there, as always, and gazed around the room. Mr. Lasso was never her teacher. He started to work in the high school when her and Peter were seniors. He taught in the sciences and was an absolute favorite of his students. Jade detested the sciences and made sure she didn’t have to take one science credit her senior year, they've been meeting at these back-to-school nights and he is always so kind. Mr. Lasso never treated her as a subject of gossip or met her with sympathetic smiles like the parents of her kid’s peers did. She was happy knowing that that part of this chapter will be over for good after tonight.

All Of It
First Off Everything Has To Start Off Great, Not Good But Great. Why Is That? Because If It Ain’t Great Then Things Won’t Go Your Way. First, You Got To Look Pretty Good Like On Point With Your Outfit, From Shoes To The (Now) Mask Make Sure Everything Matches. Some People Write Out Few Corny Lines Or Jokes Maybe Add Little Bit Of Flirting Too In Those Jokes. You Don’t Need Pick Up Lines, Why? Because The Person You Want Is Gonna Be In Front Of You. Then The Second Thing You Do Is, If You’re Picking The Person Up Then Check Everything On Your Car From Gas To Water To The Battery. Few Things Happen To Me On Those Dates If I Didn’t Check Them. Let Me Tell You About One Time, I Was Going To My “Friend” We Could Call Her. So, One Time I Didn’t Check Everything I Was Like “Cool Let Me Get Gas First” So I Pick Her Up And She Was Saying Bye To Her Kid. I Knew Something Was Wrong Because My Car Wasn’t Acting Right. Right? I Didn’t Show No Panic, I Was Going To No Mechanical There. I Know Cars But No Work During Dates. Here’s Some Pointers If You Two Like The Same Things Or Step By Step If Your First Date With That Person You Want. Cars - If You Guys Like Cars Then A Quick Joy Ride Isn’t That Bad. You Know, Driving Over 100mph On The Freeway, Get Your Date Little Bit Excited Or Maybe They Might Get Scared. But I Don’t Recommend To Do That All. You Two Could Go Up And Mountains Or Big Enough Hills To Drift On Then Do It, Just Be Careful With Getting In Trouble. If You’re Ok With Your Date Driving Your Car Then Take Turns. Talk About Your Favorite Cars, About Your Future/Dream Cars Or Future Plans With Your Cars Now. If It’s Your First Date Make Sure Your Car Is Wash, Clean, Smells, Feels Good Maybe Smells Like Cherry Or Black Ice. It’s Top Off With Gas, Coolant, And Oil Is Good. Music - Music Is A Important Thing On A Date. Why? That Shows Your Date, You Like All Different Types Of Music Not Just One Genre. Play The Stuff They Like Too, Not Just Your Music. Some People Like Mainstream 75% Of The Population Likes Mainstream. Other People Like Independent Music, Gangster Music, Old School Music. If You Two Like The Same Music Then Cool, You Don’t Gotta Spend Few Days Before To Look For Good Music. But The Best Music, Is You Two Laughing. Restaurant/Location - One Thing Truly Matters If You Both Have To Like The Same Food Or At Least Like The Same Restaurant. Why Does It Matter? Because If She Picks The Place/Type Of Food And You Don’t Like It, Then You’re Not Going To Eat At All Unless They Got Chicken Strips On The Menu. Or If They Like When People Who Can Cook Then Just Make Something Easy But Let Them Think It Was A Lot Of Work. Alright Now The Seating, Some People Think The Darkest Is Better But In Reality, Its Not Why? Because You Won’t Be Able To See Your Date. Make Sure It’s Dark Enough But Roughly Though Sit Next To Them Close As Possible. Little Bit Of Flirting Too. It’s Not Raining Neither As Well. But If It Is Then, You Together Go Sit At Window Table And Just Watch The Rain Come Down. The Ride Home - The Date Went Pretty Good Right? If They’re Feeling You Then Rub Their Leg Or Hold Their Hand. Just Cursing Down The Street In Your Car Listening To Slow Jams. The First Date Was Successful But The Night Is Still Young. Nope I Ain’t Talking About That Neither, I’m Talking About Somewhere And Looking In The Stars, Making Them Laugh Until They Can’t Get No Air Then Look Into Each Other Eyes And Tell Them What You See. If That Come Downs To That. Good Job And Better Luck Next Time. The Perfect Date

Dream Date of a Perfect Pairing
Denise was overcome with nervousness as she lay in the bed unable to sleep any longer. You see, this is the day she finally rejoins society! For the past nearly twenty years she has only lived for her three children. Raising them was her only concern, her only thought, but they are all grown up now. Her two daughters have mates and children of their own. The past year and the pandemic had shown her just how much she is alone. SO, she decided when people get back to joining society, she was going to start dating. This was that day.
