Rising Up Against Our Oppressors

In a world where the truth can set you free. And not for the faint of heart. Don't come to Huntington WV if you can't play the redneck games right!

The center of Huntington this is ground breaking.

Huntington, WV,. circa 1996, verses present day. Not really different, honestly. Bigots, oppression, aren't, hidden in hick-town. They say the truth will set you free, know one, knew that it depends who it comes from. I love West Virginia for two reasons: One, it does take a person long to share their true colours. Two, I love how huntington is wrapped around the Appalachian Mountains. It's like a mount wrapped around a castle so to speak.

I have been a City Mission for 23 days, Stephan King did research to write many of his books to find inspiration. For me, this is no different. My mom told me to look at this as a Journey rather then a curse. She was right, this is a journey nothing more. I look at this experience as a job opportunity nothing more.

Surviving from all the things I learned thats essential. I have more to lose then anyone in this place. Regardless of their choices we are all human.

The stigma of Homelessness in Huntington is so sad. Ignorance I am started to think is inherited, and practiced by peers not just at work. Oh no, this is no joke the stigma here is so outrageous.

I think the hardest part in life is knowing, when we all say enough is enough.

The hard lessons we face when embarking on a journey sometimes they follow us from one state to another. That's the hardest thing sometimes the lessons we face whether it's alone or not.

Now a greatest lesson of all among a true West Virginian is two communities coming together as a sign of support. A ground breaking two years in the making.

Matthew says, "This ground breaking was a long time in the making for our community and to be able to do it in West Virginia is huge. I lived here all my life I have seen bigots in politics and the government. But to able to create art sanctioned and approved by the city of Huntington I am proud to be Bisexual."

To be able to ask these kind souls to blog about this experience as a blogging reporter I encouraged them to make sure they say no comment because not all reporters have good morals.

However, this is my first real story witnessed from the LGBTQ+ community. There were people who helped not even part of the community helping lending a hand. Talking enjoythemselves.

To even get candid photos were an honour. My morals as a human being I'm proud to say the cops are still protecting the Graffti in case if bigots decide they want to destroy the hard work. At least the cops can protect something honestly.

Another candid photo from this monumental stepping stone for the LGBTQ+ Community.

Standing up against our oppressors is improtant here are a few new photos from my new hobbie I wanted to share. A new form for me I started.

"Roadblock in my mind" by Louise Blake-Michael.

This I created inspired by roadblocks I face. The light represents the silver lining thats coming soon. The skyline that is captured was just a happy accident.

"Sin" by Louise Blake-Michael

Where I am staying it's a supposed Christian Church. so I had to capture the photo it kinda reminded me the lighting reminded me of Adam and Eve's tree of Knowledge even though that's in Africa. It looked almost other worldly.

Now rising up against my oppressors, has been the best thing I could ever write. It gives others a chance to figure there own judgement if what my eyes are deceiving, or are they seeing these a little two clearly.

What I encourage anyone to be homeless to be come a minority? No, I wouldn't. But the underdogs like myself will rise like a phoenix. Our oppressors will get a taste of what it's like. It's the bitter sweet taste of Karma.

Oppression comes in my forms all different ways. It's important we remember I am just trying to survive this situation.

I feel like I am a prisoner even though I am homeless. I actually know what my number is (Aurelien****) cant share the last four digits. But HCM vibes are oppressive, jail vibes if I ever been to jail this is my verison.

Question for my audience for investors, do does nayone care who others are treated? Are these fortune five hundred companies knowing full well where there money goes to? And if so y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Whether it's the LGBTQ+ community, the minorities (homesless), or what class y'all are in. Humanity we all got red blood pumping in our veins last time I hecked.

Not everything is black and white, remember not everything is as it seems. Just because a white picket fence house may look perfect on the outside doesn't mean it is on the inside. Looks are deceiving, I wonder if the investors knew how we are treated would they pull out? Or do they know and not care? If so, that is humanity at it's finest.
