In the video above Dear Sybersue discusses a topic that many women write to her about. They want to know how to get over a breakup a lot faster. Their self-esteem takes a beating and they can't seem to move on and feel good about themselves.

In the post below Sybersue goes into more depth about breakups and why men seem to move on much quicker from a relationship than many women do, which allows them to bring happiness back into their lives at a faster rate.

This often happens because some men decide their partnership is over way before the actual time they end it; which allows them to be a lot more emotionally prepared when it does transpire. This can blindside a woman wondering what the Hell happened, why it ended and why their partner has moved on so quickly!

This is also one of the reasons why many ladies take so much longer to get past the hurt and sadness. It is a huge rejection to them because they didn’t any see red flags and thought everything was fine.

Unfortunately in many cases women choose to ignore these red flags, as there are usually some signs that a man is moving away from the relationship.

Of course there willalways be those big actors that play a great role in showing no signs of discontent within their relationship; but for the most part there are some indications that things have changed.

This is why it is crucial to make your partnership a priority. Never take things for granted and give all you can to nurturing it on a daily basis. Never stop communicating!

Quite often couples grow apart over the years due to boredom or complacency but it is still difficult to end a long-term partnership. You have grown accustomed to having them in your life even if the romance has deteriorated.

It is always harder on the person who did not initiate the breakup!

After the Breakup

Your heart and ego takes a bruising when a relationship ends because you feel crushed that your partner doesn't want to be with you anymore. After about six months and the initial hurt dies down a little, you will begin to see that there is some light in the future for you.

If you are really being honest with yourself, you will start to understand that your breakup happened for a reason and that you were meant to be in a happier place. You can start fresh without having to tiptoe around a partnership that has deteriorated into a bland existence.

We all change over the years and we are not always meant to be with one partner our entire life. We learn so much through each stage of our lives but the important thing is to take what we were taught from these lessons and move forward. Stop dwelling on what didn't work.

Be optimistic that there are wonderful new beginnings coming onto your path and embrace them. Get off the couch ladies, dust off your pride and get out there to be the best NEW you ever.

There is a reason your relationship ended and it is usually a wake up call for you to be in a much more exciting place. Don’t spend too much time dwelling on your ex and open up your eyes to see what the Universe has in store for the next part of your future!
