Bisola Aiyeola has made quite the name for herself. She entered the entertainment industry in 2006 and appeared on the reality TV show Project Fame West Africa in 2008. Since then she has gone on to star in a number of movies, record a number of songs, appear on Big Brother Naija and also be a television host. Bisola is unstoppable, yet still she faces people who try to discredit her or water down what she has done, often because of two reasons: 1) Because they attribute all of her success solely to Big Brother Naija, and 2) Because she is a single mother.

Do You Still Love Her?
“Do you still love her?” It was such a loaded question, and one for which I was not prepared to answer. I didn’t know what to say, couldn’t think of anything appropriate, so I decided to answer without a filter.
Jefferey A AyersPublished 2 years ago in Humans Public Speaking Skills for Top Speakers
My latest obsession is public speaking. I don't know what hit me, but I found myself making excuses to speak in front of people. Like photographing people, I started because I was afraid of it, and I just overcame that fear by doing it (repeatedly) until I fell in love with the act and couldn't stop. Public speaking is similar. I've extracted some useful tips from "Podium Strategies for 28 Public Speaking Experts." These are general tips from the speaker. I'll cover specific techniques in a later blog post.
How to really listen to someone
Everyone wants to be heard. When we listen to others, we recognize that they need to be acknowledged and understood. Deep down, we all want to know that we matter, that we matter. Don't you think that when we meet someone who shows interest in what we have to say, we tend to like them immediately?
Keep the ‘M’ and ‘E’ Gates Open in ‘MarriagE’ - Don’t Let ‘M-E’ Get in the Way!
Marriage should be repressive, not oppressive. Restrictive, yet liberating. Stressful, yet peacefully secure. Repressive vs oppressive meaning holding something back, instead of unjustly holding someone down.

Worrying is like holding an umbrella up in the sun, waiting for it to rain
And logically, that doesn’t make sense, right? Why does worrying feel normal and natural and needed? I saw this saying once and I didn’t get it but then when I noticed people around me like my mum and boyfriend worrying for no reason, I realised that I was doing the same and we’ve been conditioned to welcome worry and yet, when we are to compare it something like the analogy above, it doesn’t make sense as to why this is a done thing but it’s done every day by us, sometimes without us knowing we are. Remind yourself of this saying, it’s saved me from myself a lot.

I’m Glad My Mom Died: A Book Review of Jennette McCurdy’s Masterpiece
It’s been just over a month since Jennette McCurdy’s book ‘I’m Glad My Mom Died’ was released, and I don’t think it’s been talked about enough. I honestly think that there are a few reasons for this, not the least of which is that this book is hard to read. The book contains references to mental illness, psychological and sexual abuse, and is genuinely uncomfortable in its bluntness at times. But it is also a genuinely unforgettable read.
