Mathew was a dance choreographer, and boy did he have a group of friends! There was Isabella, the sassy one; Jenny, the feisty one; Danny, the joker; James and Lilly, the goofy couple. Mathew couldn't help but chuckle every time he was around them.

But there was one member of his dance crew who had been giving him some trouble - Susan. She had a huge crush on him, but Mathew didn't want to get involved with a student. Every time she came near him, he'd dart off in the opposite direction like a scared rabbit.

One day, Mathew was teaching a class, and Susan kept tripping over her own feet. Mathew tried his best to hold back his laughter, but he couldn't help it. He erupted into a fit of giggles, and the rest of the class joined in.

"Oh, Mathew, you are so funny!" Jenny said, wiping tears of laughter from her eyes.

"I know, right?" Mathew replied, grinning from ear to ear.

"Hey, Mathew," Isabella said, "why don't you give Susan a chance? She's a great dancer, and she clearly has the hots for you!"

Mathew rolled his eyes. "I'm not interested in dating a student, Isabella. You know that."

"But she's so cute!" Danny chimed in. "And she's got the moves like Jagger!"

Mathew shook his head. "No way, guys. I'm not going to risk my reputation for a fling."

James and Lilly exchanged a knowing glance. "Uh huh," Lilly said, smirking.

"Don't be a stick in the mud, Mathew," Jenny said, winking at him. "You never know what could happen!"

Mathew chuckled. "Yeah, yeah. We'll see about that." He couldn't help but smile at his crazy crew. They always knew how to make him laugh.

In the other side, Laura was a Television Anchor, and she loved her job. But she loved her family even more. Her father, David, was a rich man who loved to spend his money on the craziest things - like a solid gold toilet. Laura's brother was a businessman, but he had a secret passion for interpretive dance.

Whenever Laura was with her family, she knew she was in for a wild ride. One time, they all went to an amusement park and David insisted on riding every single ride, even the kiddie rides. Laura's brother ended up getting sick after eating too much cotton candy and riding the teacups.

Another time, Laura's family went on a cruise. David decided to dress up as a pirate for the entire trip, and he even convinced the entire family to join in. They all walked around the ship wearing eye patches and shouting "Ahoy, mateys!" at anyone who passed by.

Laura loved her family, but sometimes they drove her insane. Once, they all went to a fancy restaurant for her mother's birthday. Laura's brother decided to give a speech about how much he loved his mother - but he did it through interpretive dance. The other diners looked on in confusion as Laura's brother leapt and twirled around the room.

Through it all, Laura couldn't help but laugh. Her family may be a bit crazy, but they were also the most loving and supportive people she knew. She couldn't imagine life without them.

Laura was watching a primetime show one night when she saw Mathew's dance performance. She was blown away by his talent and couldn't help but feel a little smitten. She knew she had to find a way to meet him.

She started by asking around with her media friends to see if they knew Mathew's contact information. Eventually, she was able to get his phone number. She called him up to congratulate him on his amazing performance, but Mathew answered in a distracted voice, clearly not recognizing who she was.

Laura was undeterred. She called him again the next day, and the next day after that. Mathew began to recognize her number and would answer with a sigh, knowing it was Laura on the other end. But no matter how many times he tried to brush her off, Laura kept calling.

One day, Laura decided to take matters into her own hands. She showed up unannounced at Mathew's dance studio, hoping to catch him by surprise. When she saw him in person, she was even more smitten. But Mathew was caught off guard and a little annoyed.

Laura, not one to give up easily, kept showing up at the studio, trying to get Mathew's attention. She would watch his rehearsals and offer suggestions, even though she had no dance experience. Mathew found her enthusiasm amusing, but also a bit frustrating.

Despite all of this, Mathew couldn't deny that Laura's persistence was endearing. He started to see her as less of a nuisance and more of a potential friend. And as they spent more time together, he began to see her in a new light. Maybe there was more to Laura than he originally thought.

One day, out of the blue, Laura called Mathew and told him she wanted to talk about something important. Mathew, having grown accustomed to Laura's persistent phone calls, didn't think much of it and assumed it was just another conversation about dance or something equally innocuous.

But as they talked, Laura's tone shifted. She started to get more serious and said, "Mathew, I have something to tell you. I really like you, and I want to know if you would consider being my boyfriend."

Mathew couldn't believe it. Was this some kind of elaborate prank his friends had come up with? He asked Laura if she was serious, and she reassured him that she was.

But Mathew was still skeptical. He told Laura he needed some time to think about it and promptly hung up. Later that night, he called his friends to ask if they had put Laura up to this. But they all swore they had no part in it.

The next day, Laura showed up at Mathew's dance studio, looking nervous. She asked him if he had made a decision, and Mathew, still unsure, asked her why she had suddenly developed feelings for him.

Laura explained that she had always been impressed by his talent and his passion for dance. But as she got to know him, she realized there was much more to him than just his dance moves. She liked the person he was, and she wanted to explore the possibility of a relationship.

Mathew was taken aback. He had never really considered Laura as a romantic prospect before, but now he was starting to see her in a new light. He apologized for his initial skepticism and told her he wanted to give it a shot.

From that day on, Mathew and Laura started dating. They went on romantic walks, shared their favorite dance moves, and had countless laughs together. Mathew found himself falling for Laura more and more with each passing day, and he knew that he had made the right choice in giving her a chance.

After dating for more than five months, Mathew knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Laura. He decided to propose to her during a romantic dance performance he had planned.

As the music started, Mathew and Laura began to dance. They moved gracefully across the stage, their bodies in perfect sync. As the dance reached its climax, Mathew got down on one knee and pulled out a ring.

"Laura, will you marry me?" he asked.

Laura was overcome with emotion. She nodded yes, and the audience erupted into cheers and applause.

The couple quickly got to work planning their wedding, but there was one big hurdle to overcome - Laura's family. Laura's father, David, was not thrilled about the idea of his daughter marrying a dance choreographer. He thought Laura could do better and was worried about Mathew's career prospects.

But Mathew wasn't deterred. He was determined to win over David, and he came up with a plan. He invited David to his dance studio and put on a private performance just for him. David was impressed by Mathew's skills and passion, and he started to see him in a new light.

Still, he wasn't convinced. So, Mathew decided to take it a step further. He challenged David to a dance-off, winner takes all. David was hesitant at first, but Mathew's enthusiasm was contagious, and soon they were both dancing up a storm.

It was a close contest, but in the end, Mathew emerged victorious. David was impressed by his dedication and drive, and he finally gave his blessing for the marriage.

The wedding day arrived, and it was a beautiful affair. Mathew and Laura exchanged vows, and their friends and family cheered them on. Even James and Lilly, Mathew's funny friends from his dance crew, got in on the action and performed a surprise dance number.

As the night wore on and the party got into full swing, Mathew couldn't help but feel grateful for everything that had led up to this moment. He had found love in the most unexpected of places, and he was overjoyed to be marrying the woman of his dreams.

And as he swept Laura onto the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife, he knew that they had a lifetime of laughter, love, and dance ahead of them.

I like how you started out by introducing all the characters from the beginning of the story to us and began to develop them for us immediately! It made for a less than typical beginning but I really appreciated it! Of course the trouble maker was a Susan, well chosen name! You also did a great job building and progressing the plot through character dialogue! It was an interesting concept to have a split plot that came together in the middle but I really enjoyed it! Overall it was a beautiful love story about two people finding each other, falling for each other and being able to overcome hardships together. I love that Matthew won her dad over by challenging him to a dance off! Such a creative and unexpected twist!
