Halloween Films That’ll Petrify Your Psyche
Welcome, foolish mortals. Putting on a horror movie is a leisure activity that you may find me partaking in on any day of the year. This may be true for some of you, but there’s also an abundance who consider “Halloween movies” a Halloween thing, and only break out the hauntings, gore and jump scares when the season approaches. With so many popular work to choose from and a wide variety of sub-genres as well, you may want to branch out this year. It is my personal opinion that- when done properly- a psychological thriller can make for a fulfilled movie night.

The Blair Witch Project (1999)
In this article, we will be looking at 2019’s book “1001 Movies to See Before You Die” and going through each film in a random order that I have chosen. We will be looking at what constitutes this film to be on the list and whether I think this film deserves to be here at all. I want to make perfectly clear that I won’t be revealing details from this book such as analyses by film reporters who have written about the film in question, so if you want the book itself you’ll have to buy it. But I will be covering the book’s suggestions on which films should be your top priority. I wouldn’t doubt for a second that everyone reading this article has probably watched many of these movies anyway. But we are just here to have a bit of fun. We’re going to not just look at whether it should be on this list but we’re also going to look at why the film has such a legacy at all. Remember, this is the 2019 version of the book and so, films like “Joker” will not be featured in this book and any film that came out in 2020 (and if we get there, in 2021). This year especially, with people virtually getting together to watch the spookiest movies around, I got two friends together to watch a more light-heart movie that still embraced the spooky and macabre, this took the form of the 90s cult classic, "The Addams Family".

Final Destination (Movies)
Final Destination....🤔🤔🤔🤔 With Halloween days away, I couldn’t resist running down a list of some of my favorite “horror” films. After an extensive search of what to watch, me being more of a series person, I was more willing to dive back into Final Destination to see some of my movie baes. IE: Kerr Smith, who we recognize as the Kyle Brody from Charmed, Devon Sawa who we also know from some of our favorite movies like Now and Then and Casper, and of course, Sean William Scott, the jackass from American Pie(but he’s still fine though. Peridot!). I watched the movie, and though I loved it as a kid, there was something(s) that really pissed me off. Let’s get into it.
