The Final Meal
I felt a cold wind spiralling around my body whilst also being attacked by rapid drops of the stabbing rain as they pierce my soft skin. Synchronised beads of condensation began to trickle down from the house windows. It’s dark, and as I walk through the cold, the shape of dark elm trees, silhouetted in the backdrop create a haunting atmosphere. Their mighty shadows obscure the cobbled pathway leading to the house of Vince’s parents. The house is bleak, with rotting wooden planks peeking out in each direction. Leading up the porch, there is an old wooden staircase left with pale, frayed carpet laid down on the steps which have lost most of its colour due to the outside exposure in the sun and rain for so long.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Splice' (2009)
SPOILERS!!! YUP! We're starting with the spoilers, and you know what that means... FUCK. THIS. MOVIE... I can tell you that this is going to be triggery for some people, so fair warning now, but long story short, don't watch this sad excuse for xenophilia porn.

Old and forgotten
Oh the joys of finding the old and forgotten things. The abandoned things. The once glory filled things that only Lord knows how many people got to enjoy before us. How many holidays were spent here? Were they enjoyable for everyone involved? Or did a once lively turned hermit guy live here and it wasn't as warm or inviting anymore? Who in the world knows. But I'd be interested in finding out. I'd have more fun than what should be allowed in finding out though.

Meeting The Witch
NOTE: This is a section of a book I'm working on therefore some information may come across confusing. It was my eighth day of school when I met my teacher. I decided I would take the long way home, avoiding Cadence and her band of cheerleading bitches. I didn’t bother telling Saint Greg that I would be walking home again, I didn’t have the patience to hear his reassuring or pleading rants about how he is here for me and “we’re a family now”. Please… they weren’t even married yet and he felt obligated to look after me like a worried sick mother.

A Town Called Sacrament.
People seem to doubt me when I tell them stories of Sacrament, sometimes I even believe them, until I talk to others who grew up there. A town where you were crazy not to tell your children how to get away from certain death. A town where you had to establish yourself as dangerous if you wanted to see adulthood without trauma.

Phantom Island-"Origins"-31
Duncan paused his story while the waitress refilled their coffees. He looked at the lady in front of him. He couldn’t believe he had finally found her; and not a moment too soon. He could tell she was truly interested in his story and would likely be saddened when it came time for him to go.

Giants
So I've just woken up and my stomach is making gurgling noises. I touch it and tell it I will get to it soon. I get off my bed and go to the bathroom to let off some water and once it calms down to a drizzle I wipe, flush, and wash my hands. I make my way to the fridge hearing the thumps as I walk across the ground surface barefoot and into the kitchen I go. I open the fridge door and see eggs and immediately my mind goes to french toast. So scrambled eggs, french toast and what else? How about some fruits? I look again in the fridge and see fresh blueberries, strawberries, and some orange juice. This will be my morning meal then.

The Bar Near My Home
My neck was stiff from lying too long on the couch. I could not recall when I last had the urge to move a muscle. My face was numb from hugging the sofa fabric and my back was screaming from bowing like a bridge into the cushions. Somehow, it felt as though I had just said goodbye to visitors, and was then wallowing in the sudden absence of interaction and embrace. This did not help motivate me to rouse myself from this self-induced anguish. In my line of sight, a show I had watched through a dozen times played on. The comedy had lost its fervor to me this day, and the drab daylight seemed to turn everything grey. The ache of my skeleton only perpetuated my exhaustion, and I realized if I did not move from this position, the cycle would continue indefinitely.

Eating my experience (4)
TOME 5 I woke in the dark, my pillow still sopping wet and stuck to my face to the sound of alex playing the banjo slowly, trying to perfect a song he apparently wrote while i was asleep. "how long was I asleep?" asked groggily causing alex to jump slightly and drop his banjo on his lap.

Perilous Delivery Prologue
Prologue: It was a normal day in the tropical paradise of Costa Rica when he met her. Him spending a semester studying abroad. They say that Costa Rica is the most beautiful place on earth. There are more species of butterfly there than in all of Africa. A tiny little country, and yet diverse, glorious, and so full of beauty that nothing can really be compared to it. Yet, that day, he saw her, the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. Even more beautiful, I dare say, than Costa Rica itself. Little did either of them know that she was about to end his carefree wayfaring life.
