The Bride's Forest
“Boo!” I nearly jumped out of my skin as Tommy screamed and jumped on me before I started to hit him off of me. “Get off, meat-puppet!” I groaned, shrugging him off of me as Josh and Steve started chuckling from behind us. Tommy laughed even as I shoved him off; probably because it took nearly all of my strength.

The Eyes that Watch
Somehow I always saw myself living a better life. The house, the car, and the picket fence with kids and a dog. I always dreamed of this extra extravagant life but after one really bad breakup and a lay off from my job I decided a new start was necessary. I sold my house and moved to the Mountains in Tennessee in hopes of restoring my peace of mind.

La Lechuza
“Izzy! Izzy! Wake up!" I heard it again. The sound was so piercing and awful. I peaked out of our bedroom window and over at the barn, there it was. All white and perched up on the highest point of the roof. I called for my older sister to wake up so that she could finally stop telling me I’m delusional. I almost believed her but for five days now, it has continued to come back.

The Marina
The Marina; a beautiful and serene oasis in the Black Hills of South Dakota, USA. Forget all of the tourist destinations recommended by Google, this is where you wanted to be. I was extremely lucky to be here every single day as I was the manager of The Marina.

Wolves
With a single twitch of each numb, cold – swollen digit I took count of the massive beasts hauling me across the barren landscape. I ran out of fingers before I ran out of dogs. My thoughts turned to how I would finish the count when I realized that only a single pair remained unaccounted for before my vision faded into the gently blowing snow and caused whatever was in front of me to blur.

Winchester: Phasmophobia
It was almost Christmas time, and 2010 was almost over. The weather was getting well into the 40’s-50’s during the day and mixed with the breeze from the beach and continuously rainy days, it made for an even colder feeling. I love cold, gray, and rainy days where you didn’t see any sunlight at all. Not even the small sliver from behind a cloud. Just gray for miles and the rainfall in the distance like smoky gray paint being smeared down a canvas that was the horizon of the ocean. They blended together for an endless array of deep gray. Having to wear a sweater all day and be cozy by a fire. It gave Christmas time more of that Christmassy feeling.

Who Is There Part 2
Remember that girl I saw in the bathroom with the blood running down her, well I did not get up the nerve to tell my mom what I had seen. I do not even fully know what I had saw I ended up just playing it cool and going on about my day. I am pretty sure every one has had those times when you are busy doing something and it's like you see someone in the corner of your eye but when you look there is no one there. Well that was happening a lot to me since that night and every time it had happened I would feel this weird vibe. The good thing though was that I was not seeing anything strange again. Felt like everything was normal again and have nothing to worry about.

The Owl's Warning to the Lovers
An owl hooted as if to warn me of something. The sound of it echoed in my mind a moment after. It seemed to melt into the dusk that was quickly descending, as if to call back the fading light or else hurry it on. I looked around, from dappled branch to canopy, wondering if I might be able to catch a glimpse of this most elusive of birds. What kind of owl would it be? A barn owl perhaps or...Who was I kidding? As if I'd ever seen one before, let alone distinguished between the types.
