My reality
Have you ever wondered why you're alive? What your purpose in life is. I use to wonder that every day till one day it finally smacked me in the face. It literally put a fist in my jaw. You see I'm not human, well not anymore. I haven't been a human in over 500 years. This is my story of how my brother and I were taken from our family and turned into monsters.

Are we expecting somebody else for Christmas? No? There’s a dark figure outside. Ripped out of Christmas wrapping paper in 2015, Krampus is a Christmas-horror movie about a dark figure stalking a family. Darkness creeps over the icy tundra as hundreds of thousands of unique snowflakes fall onto a family of six trekking through the blizzard-covered ground. Squinting through the icy sheet of snow in front of her face, Gabrielle trudges through the inches of powder on the ground. Following closely behind her are her father, mother, brother and 2 cousins. Gabrielle fruitlessly shakes the freezing flakes off of her face as her father comes up beside her.

I had woken up about half-way through the ride. The total drive took roughly two hours, and the closer we seemed to get to Healing Springs, the less I could control my anxiety. Panic had almost turned into hyperventilation by the time we pulled to a stop. I closed my eyes and forced myself to breathe through my nose until the panic died down.
Kiersey HillPublished 3 years ago in Horror9 Christmas-Themed Horror Movies You Should Watch Right Now!
So, you're about to hang stockings by the fire and put up that epic Christmas tree that's sure to outdo the neighbors pitiful effort. December is usually a very festive month as we get closer to the big day of eating presents and opening turkey (scratch that, reverse it). However, if you're like me then you get a bit tired of the usual re-runs of Its A Wonderful Life and Home Alone (don't get me wrong, they are good movies) and start to look for something with a bit more edge. Well, you're in the right place, as I've compiled a list of 9 Christmas horror movies/TV shows that will help you get through the holidays without resorting to a full-on Jack Nicholson family massacre — well, maybe. Let's begin:
Matt LoftusPublished 3 years ago in HorrorFilm Review : 1BR (2019)
We’re so glad to have you in the building. It was two months. Two months that I didn’t feel the urge to write down a nuanced and honest opinion about a movie I’ve seen. Maybe it was a lack of motivation because of the limited feedback on my previous writings. Maybe it was because of the enthusiasm with which I threw myself into a “Horror Challenge”. A “Challenge” in which I finally watched 89 films in a period of about 7 weeks. And after these 7 weeks, I realized that I really enjoyed watching 50s and 60s horror. Coincidentally, the movie “1BR” passed during this event and there were words of praise for this horror. Enthusiastically I accepted the invitation from Alok Mishra (one of the producers) to send me a link to a screener. And of course, I’ll be doing something in return by writing this review. So first of all, thank you Alok for forwarding the link.
Out Of Place
A light. Bright enough to give me a headache as I slowly cracked open my eyelids. Everything hurt, and there was so much whiteness around me. White cabinets, counters, and a single white door, barely visible against the walls.

Journal #2 October 5th: I've spent the last month vigorously researching any possible hints or leads I can into the arcane, specifically for that beast I saw, and I must say how little we know is astounding.
Echos
I remember seeing her as a child. I was young, but I still can recall thinking her presence to be odd and forced. Then it was myself, younger sister, and youngest brother. I believe I was nine, and my twin siblings trailed behind me at five years old. Our mother and father were upstairs, and we were in our pajamas playing about in the basement.

I told this one before, but I posted really late so I’ll try again this year. When I was 14 I worked in a doll shop on the first floor of an old colonial house. At the time I loved dolls and it was my absolute dream job. Since I was so young, one of the elderly owners usually worked the register while I ran around the floor and storage room.
Up Nightmare's Alley
It isn't often a film starring Jodie Foster and Gary Busey actually brings to mind passages from The Satanic Bible. But, watching the incredible film Carny (1980) again after so many years, I couldn't help but be reminded of this:
Goblin
Goblin Mila’s arms started to shiver against the cold as the wind kicked up but she willed them to stop. Any moment now.
