My Review of "Ghostbusters (1984)"
Ghostbusters (1984) is a movie that holds a special place in my heart. I remember watching it when I was really young. My father never brought me to the movies or anything like that and one night he came home with this movie. We watched it that night and I'll forever remember that movie because it blew my mind.

My Review of "Lightyear"
Lightyear is finally come out on streaming on Disney Plus. It took me a while to watch this one. Admittedly, I wasn't really excited to see it but I knew it was a Pixar film so it can't be too bad. There's this part of me that was curious what they were going to do with the Buzz Lightyear character in this movie as well.

Bullet Train - A Movie Review. Top Story - August 2022.
From the way I look at this situation, maybe it’s good luck that we missed the train. Riding into theaters in 2022, Bullet Train centers around five assassins onboard a fast-moving bullet train. They soon learn that their missions have something in common.

Fall - A Movie Review
Life is all about taking on challenges - just not dangerous ones. Landing in theaters in 2022, Fall is a story about two best friends who climb a 2,000-foot B67 tower. Making it to the top, their luck falls short when the ladder rips away leaving Becky and Hunter stranded.

Fatherhood
Kevin Hart is well known for his comedy roles. It was quite refreshing to see him step slightly out of character for his role in Fatherhood. I say slightly because it is not possible for Kevin not to add a bit of comedy to everything he does (a case in point is the diaper-throwing scene in this movie). He plays a recently bereaved husband navigating life with a newborn. He is all heart and soul in this beautiful movie about life, grief, pain, parenthood, family, love and friendship.

Lessons From Turkish Drama. Top Story - August 2022.
They say when you tell one lie, you tell a thousand more to make that one true. This is Ada's hilarious story in Baht Oyunu (Twist of Fate/Game of Destiny). She comes from a family history where it is erroneously believed that a woman who does not marry her first love will be unhappy for the rest of her life. When this does not work out, Ada believes herself doomed for life and puts plans in motion to win back her first love who has moved on. Of course, this throws up unintended consequences and is a harbinger of much confusion.

Why Aren't You Watching The Queer Show 'Dead End: Paranormal Park'?
Dead End: Paranormal Park is a young adult supernatural thriller based on the comic DeadEndia by Hamish Steele. It's about a neurodiverse Pakistani woman named Norma Khan (Kody Kavitha) and a trans man named Barney Guttman (Zach Barack) having adventures in the demonic-infested theme park, Phoenix Parks — a cross between Disneyworld and Dollywood. Norma and Barney battle demons, perform exorcisms, and along the way, become more confident versions of themselves — a staple of Young Adult (YA) media.
