"Angel in the Rubble" is a Movie About the Last Survivor of the 9-11 Tragedy
When the world remembers September 11, 2001, the images that rise first are often the ones of devastation—falling towers, clouds of ash, and the collective grief that swept across the nation. We remember where we were and what we were doing on September 11, 2001 at 8:46 a.m.

The Odyssey(2026) Review: A Brilliant Psychological Epic That Almost Gets There
Full disclosure: I came into Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey with sky-high expectations. After all, we are talking about The Odyssey — a cornerstone of the Western canon that has been translated, reimagined, and dissected. Set to music long before anyone had ever heard of Margaret Atwood or Claire North. Having read and enjoyed more than a few different adaptations, including (but not limited to) Emily Wilson’s landmark translation , Margaret Atwood’s The Penelopiad , Claire North’s Songs of Penelope Trilogy, and EPIC: The Musical , I was prepared to like this one a lot.

Nolan Cut the Twelve Hanged Women From The Odyssey. That Silence Is the Real Story.
After the camera looks away Nolan told the truth in his Time interview. He said the ending of the Odyssey was “too grim and so misogynistic,” that he had to exclude some of it, and that he still did not want to abandon what it says about “the way men make war.” That sentence is a useful example. A director recognizes the ethical problem in his source text. His way of handling it is to avoid staging that problem and examining it. Instead, he has the camera look away.

What Movies Have I Watched?
Not Suitable for Work (2026), Creator: Mindy Kaling, Actors: Ella Hunt, Avantika, Will Angus This series had potential. “Not Suitable for Work” revolves around a group of young adults navigating the world. Finding your dream job is tough. I thought that’s what this series would focus on, but just like other media, romance is its prime focus. Credits include Ella Hunt, Avantika, and Will Angus. I’m surprised that Mindy Kaling created this series. None of the characters have depth. The actors give the weak stories their best shot. Writers seriously thought a relationship between an employee and her boss was more engrossing than growing her name in the business world? To me, that’s exciting.

The Don of Hanna-Barbera. Top Story - September 2026.
We all know who this man is. I don't need to tell you, but I will. And it won't be a short paragraph. That's not enough. This man deserves the outright Vocal spotlight. He's done it all. Residing in Jellystone Park. Handling bad guys in the Old West. Living with the first family of the future. Snickering his way to our hearts. Being that sage father figure to so many, and of course, solving so many mysteries in the scariest of places.

Ride Or Die
Seems like I haven't done one of these for too long, and being still sick gave me some time to binge-watch the entire show in three days. So I wanted to write up my media literacy review while it's still fresh in my somewhat foggy mind.
