Why Crime Dramas Are Everywhere Right Now
Open a streaming app. The homepage usually has two big categories: costume romances and crime thrillers. A new crime drama appears almost every month. Some are good. Many are not. Viewers complain, then watch the first episode anyway.

Fantasy Cast for The Challenge: Rivals 4
The Challenge just brought Cutthroat back, and it needs to bring back some other iconic themes. We saw Rivals on the 5th season of All-Stars but we haven't seen it on a flagship season in a while. It's time for it to return, and let's make it male/male and female/female teams just like Rivals I and Rivals II.

On September 26, 2026, Liu Huan died. He was 63. Jiemian News published a memorial. What to Watch This Week: Nine Stories About People Who Keep Going
I started the week with a funeral. River Cartwright stands in the rain, burying his grandfather, and who shows up but his father—a mercenary, a ghost, a man who should not be there. That scene from Slow Horses Season 6 set the tone for everything else I watched over the next few days. Not because the shows were all grim, but because they all circled the same question: what do you do when the system has erased you, when the past will not stay buried, when the only way forward is to keep moving even though you have no idea where you are going?

She Built a Livestream Empire. Now She’s Washing Bowls.
The photo shows four people against a beige wall. The lighting is flat and bright. A ring light sits directly in front of them. Viya, 41, wears a light blue striped lounge set. The cuffs are creased. Her older daughter kisses the baby's forehead. A black hair tie remains looped around the daughter's wrist. The infant is swaddled in floral fabric. A pair of black sunglasses is digitally edited onto its face. Viya wears matching sunglasses and a black cap. Her husband, Dong Haifeng, sits beside her.

He Walked Through TVB With Red Ink on His Chest
1991, Clear Water Bay TV City, Broadcast Drive. Alex Man walked out of the makeup room. He was wearing a plain white T-shirt. Across the chest, written in red marker, was a line of characters. Where the pen had crossed the cotton, the ink had bled, so from a distance it looked like blood. The words read: Begging the Chicken Feather Commander to grant us studio time.

I have come to resent Daria
I loved Daria which is a Spin off of Daria from Beavis and Butthead until she stole her best friend Jane Lane’s boyfriend and that left a bad taste in my mouth. Whoever writer thought of this idea is wrong I mean Daria represented the outcast and a brain but somehow she became like her sister Quinn who was stealing boyfriends on a daily basis. I don’t like how Daria betrayed Jane by taking her man Tom but what makes it even worse is that Tom willingly went along with her. No wonder why Beavis and Butthead were coming down hard on her, did they know something that we didn’t? Daria turned out to be a bitch and she stole her best friend Jane’s Boyfriend Tom. They even had a cha cha number for her “Diarrhea Cha Cha Cha”.

Rest in Peace to Tim Curry
Tim Curry passed away and I am going to miss him terribly. He will also remain as one of my favorite actors beyond space and time. Some of my favorite movies that Tim had done are first of all he was the butler in the Clue movie released in the 80’s. Of course, Tim Curry is Dr. Frankenfurter in the iconic film “The Rocky Horror Picture show”. Dr. Frankenfurter is my favorite part of the movie. He had one hell of a singing voice also. My mother had a cassette of a Tim Curry album “Read my Lips” there are a lot of cool songs like “Birds of a Feather” and the song “Wake Nicodemos” which is a killer metal and Hard rock about a folk tale which I believe is a Scottish folk tale. Also for a Disney compilation Tim Curry did a great song an interesting take on Davy Crockett.

My thoughts on Roseanne
The series Roseanne really jumped the shark. After a few seasons of the show that represented nostalgia and the 80’s. John Goodman who starred as the iconic Dan Conner and patriarch of the Conner family saved the show for me. Unfortunately, the series is depressing and soul draining at best and energy draining. I know that the show is about a blue collar and working class family in the Midwest but still with too much of a slice of life can become depressing because the message that that sends is that nothing is going to get better and there is nothing that you can do make things better you can try but you’re screwed.

My favourite characters on The Simpsons
Moe Syzlak the bartender and underdog on the Simpsons is one of my favourite characters on the series. Everyone has an inner Moe Syzlak in themselves and i know that i do too and i have always seen a part of myself in this character who is voiced by Hank Azaria. Moe’s backstory is a very interesting one at that from following the series I learned that he was a actor in a fictional little rascal type show and then his career as an actor when according to Moe an alfalfa type had stolen his shtick of looking into a exhaust pipe and getting soot on his face so Moe in the show had killed the actor. Moe and his tavern contribute alot to the Simpsons show since many of the adults and people of the town of Springfield like to hang out at his bar and drink and i know that it is a long way to go just to say that a majority of the shows stories are set there. Before Moe became a bartender he was also an amateur boxer and his family as it was revealed in one episode that his family were the owners of a successful mattress franchise. The patriarch of the shows namesake the Simpsons that being well known to be Homer is always at Moe’s, no matter what happens at some point in the show Homer always says if the episode calls for it “I’ll be at Moe’s”.
