A Filmmaker's Guide to: Angelina Jolie
In this chapter of ‘the filmmaker’s guide’ we’re actually going to be learning about literature and film together. I understand that many of you are sitting in university during difficult times and finding it increasingly hard to study and I understand that many of you who are not at university or not planning on it are possibly stuck of what to do, need a break or even need to catch up on learning film before you get to the next level. This guide will be brief but will also contain: new vocabulary, concepts and theories, films to watch and we will be exploring something taboo until now in the ‘filmmaker’s guide’ - academia (abyss opens). Each article will explore a different concept of film, philosophy, literature or bibliography/filmography etc. in order to give you something new to learn each time we see each other. You can use some of the words amongst family and friends to sound clever or you can get back to me (email in bio) and tell me how you’re doing. So, strap in and prepare for the filmmaker’s guide to film studies because it is going to be one wild ride.

11 Nigerian Celebrities Still Alive and Well Past 90 Years.
1930 doesn't mean dead. And I too count myself among the school of people who do this: most times, when we hear that a person was born in 1930 or 1929 or any year before that, our brains immediately assume that the person is dead.

Walt Disney: The Failures of an Early Entrepreneur
Today, when the word "Disney" comes to mind we tend to associate it with children's cartoons, toys, theme parks, and a huge multi-billion dollar international evil conglomerate corporation that wants to take over the world, however, Disney was so much more than that, he was a real person, who had real problems and real struggles throughout his life.

Ewan McGregor Showing Off Muscle Gains for 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Series
When Obi-Wan Kenobi brought a baby Luke Skywalker to the Lars family homestead on Tatooine, he stayed in hiding nearby to keep watch over the future Jedi. For nineteen years he waited in the Jundland Wastes, becoming “Old Ben” Kenobi. We know from Uncle Owen’s comments in A New Hope and a glimpse at his life in the Marvel Star Wars comic series that in that timeframe he gained Lars’ distrust, and not much else. We will see more in the upcoming Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, but haven’t you wondered what else Obi-Wan got up to with all of that free time on his hands? After a recent Instagram post, wonder no further. Obi-Wan got swole.

Millennials are defined as someone born between the early 1980s and late 1990s. (Merriam-Webster) They tend to get a bad reputation for being lazy and self-entitled.
