7 Celebs Who Are NOTHING Like They Seem.
Celebrity is very interesting. We think we know the people behind our TV, phone, and laptop screens despite never meeting them one day in our lives.
Jide OkonjoPublished 4 years ago in GeeksA Filmmaker's Guide to 30 Things You Should Know About "10 Things I Hate About You" (1999)
"10 Things I Hate About You" (1999) was not only the ultimate teen film whilst many of us were growing up, but was also the break-out role for the incredible and versatile actor, the late Heath Ledger. Not his first role, it is his biggest to that date. There is something really endearing about this film and although I despise teen rom-coms, I absolutely adore this film. It is so different to most others because there is a serious depth to it and it is based on Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew".

Moonlit Sky.Published 4 years ago in GeeksMy Review of "This is how it ends"
I have to admit this movie deceived me. I was scrolling through Netflix to find a good disaster movie to watch and I saw How It Ends. It looked pretty similar to the Rock's San Andreas movie but I was hoping for aliens.
Brian AnonymousPublished 4 years ago in GeeksMy Review of "Full Count"
As I am writing this the whole world is under isolation due to the global pandemic we're experiencing. I needed something to watch that would uplift me so I perused through Netflix and the movie Full Count kept on popping up. All it mentioned was that it was a sports drama. Usually that's something I really like because they're usually formulaic inspirational movies so I decided to give it a try. Little did I know, this movie was a little bit of a curve ball.
Brian AnonymousPublished 4 years ago in GeeksMy Review of "Escape From Alcatraz"
Escape from Alcatraz is surprisingly based on a true story. I honestly had no idea. When I saw this come up on Netflix I was surprised because it was the number 1 movie that Netflix kept recommending me to watch. I guess the algorithms work because I watched it eventually.

intWhile many of the villains in the Disney universe have ambitions and goals that are in no doubt evil to the core, there are some with goals that can be somewhat shortsighted despite being evil.
Johann HollarPublished 4 years ago in GeeksJust For Talks: 4 Ways How The Before Trilogy Casually Challenges Conventional Filmmaking Truths
Whenever feeling underwhelmed or emotionally detached from a film, it's perfectly natural for one's mind to wander towards the ones that got it absolutely right. Only thing, in my case, that often means thinking about a trilogy of films that themselves seem to go against many of the conventional filmmaking wisdoms of "getting it right": the Before trilogy.

Cameron ThorpePublished 4 years ago in GeeksDid The Young and the Restless sacrifice Daniel Goddard for Christel Khalil?
Christel Khalil returned to The Young and the Restless a few weeks ago and has spent more time on camera since then, than she has in the entire past year. The popular actress went on recurring status in 2018 at the same time problems arose for Mishael Morgan and Eileen Dasvidson. Morgan's contract negotiations fell through and she left the show. Davidson decided to walk away after more than two decades on the CBS daytime drama. During that same time frame, Doug Davidson was let go and this caused an outcry from the viewers. After Mal Young was fired and Josh Griffith took over as head writer, Mishael Morgan returned and has been front and center ever since. Doug Davidson was brought back but for reasons unknown to his many fans, the writers have not given him much air time.
