Reasons to Love 'Stranger Things' Season 3
Of course, if you are a fan you might be biased on the latest season. But I'm here to tell anyone willing to read, that I am not a star-crazed fan. In fact, I only got into this season because my husband is a fan. Of course, I have to watch it as it's in my nature as a woman who attended college to study film and media at ASU. At first, I wasn't too drawn into Stranger Things it was just a tad off-putting for me. This season, however, got me. I read the creators of the show pushed backed their production for its CGI work, and I must say, I was not disappointed.
Danii BarraganPublished 5 years ago in GeeksHighlights from "Threat Level Midnight"!!
"Threat Level Midnight" is the movie that Michael Gary Scott makes using all of his employees as his cast. It is shown in season seven in episode 17 and it is hilarious! A few older characters even show up in the show (since editing apparently took so long) and it is hands down my personal favourite episode of The Office USA.
9 Cringeworthy Moments From Netflix's 'Jailbirds'
To help fans wait for the next Orange is The New Black, Netflix made another original show that features women in jail. This time, it's a documentary. It's called Jailbirds, and it has certainly made me realize that I never want to go anywhere near a jail.
My Review of 'Always Be My Maybe'
I didn't think I'd want to go back to Netflix until I saw some of the trailers for Always be my Maybe. I'm a fan of Ali Wong, and I didn't think that she would actually have a starring role in a movie. A lot of comedians have been getting acting roles so I'm not terribly surprised.

Season 3 of Stranger Things dropped on July 4th to coincide with the Independence Day celebrations in America, which mirror the festivities in the show. With any new season of a show, you always have that worry—is it going to be as good as the previous season? The answer in this case is a resounding YES!

Alex (Jack Gore) is a nerdy, thirteen-year-old recluse, obsessed with all things space related. His mother, Grace (Annabeth Gish) signs him up for a summer camp, Rim of the World, to try and get him involved with other kids after the death of his father.
Q-ell BettonPublished 5 years ago in GeeksWhy You Should See 'Annihilation'
Along with Fight Club (David Fincher) and A Clockwork Orange (Stanley Kubrick), Annihilation is one of only three movies I’d recommend watching before reading the book.
Netflix; 'Stranger Things 3' Review and Anticipations for 'OITNB' and 'Wentworth'.
I've been watching from the beginning, so let me start by saying this season was very well written and performed, not to mention how amazingly it continued the story. I personally love that we start off seeing how Eleven and Hopper are feeding into a normal Father/Daughter relationship and his fears of her changing and growing up manifest in the protective way it would have if his actual daughter was still alive. We see so much drama and a new side of Murray Bauman who had helped point out Nancy and Jonathon's tension the season prior, well he's at it again once we get into this season while his role also becomes more integral to the plot and main group. We love seeing the monsters taking different shapes and forms this season as it starts with rats before Billy is turned into the main host, which brings more side characters to the Flayer. As the flayer grows and hunts our favorite group of now teenagers, we see a more grotesque side to the writing. Now the Flayer is hunting El and the end for Billy is more shocking and redeeming in our hearts than Dustin and Suzie singing "Never Ending Story."

Having finished Stranger Things 3, I have some non-spoiler thoughts to present, followed by marked spoiler thoughts. Overall, I thought the season was good. I am not sure whether I prefer it over the previous seasons, but I do think that no scene has topped the Snow Ball dance at the end of season two in terms of how emotional it feels. One's mileage may vary, of course. Without diving deep right away, I have some impressions regarding the nostalgia factor. And then after that, other aspects that I cannot really discuss without spoiling.
Steven ShinderPublished 5 years ago in Geeks7 Sad Moments From Netflix's 'Jailbirds'
To help fans wait for the next 'Orange is The New Black,' Netflix made another original show that features women in jail. This time, it's a documentary. It's called 'Jailbirds', and it has caused quite the controversial debate on what is ethical. The women who agreed to this show were very bored, and I'm sure being interviewed gave them quite the opportunity to feel like they are being listened to. Was it wrong to take advantage of women in jail in order to make new entertainment? Or was this a good opportunity to give a voice to people being incarcerated?
Netflix Gems
Recently, I have started critiquing TV shows and movies. I have started to explore different genres of entertainment. Here is a list I compiled of TV shows and movies on Netflix that are a must see. Some of them have not reached popularity yet.
