The Last Person to Finish 'Stranger Things' Series 3 Speaks (Spoiler Review)
In an age where a new streaming service pops up out of nowhere sooner than you can fart twice, (nice, I just found a wild Disney+ up my arse!) it’s hard to find any media property that has enough cultural recognition, popularity, and pulling power—yeah, they’re basically all the same thing, but I was hoping you wouldn’t notice—to draw in enough people for a half decent "water cooler" conversation. However, the Duffer brothers’ smash hit Stranger Things has been a delight for me in that respect, even topping The Fantasy Show That Shall Not Be Named for viewership numbers and excitement levels amongst my little group of young adult peers. Nonetheless, the buzz for the Duffers’ show was not limited to just my friends. The official figures reveal that Stranger Things’ third series was Netflix’s most viewed "thing" ever within a four day time frame. This really begs the question: Why in the Upside-Down is this derivative, predictable, 80s nostalgia fest so Demodog-damn popular?

Amanda ClarkePublished 5 years ago in Geeks9 Titles That Are Leaving Netflix Canada in April
If you live in Canada, this might be your last chance to watch these movies and shows. Netflix signs contracts with various companies that allow TV shows and movies to be streamed from Netflix... the problem is that these contracts have expiration dates, which means that not everything can stay on Netflix forever. The good news is that lists like these can let you know what is leaving before it's actually gone.
What I Like About 'You'
As someone who usually advocates for people to read the novel before they watch the movie/ TV show, I have to admit that this isn’t how it happened for me this time. After scrolling through Netflix for what felt like hours, I finally decided to watch some of the trailers that I kept getting notifications about. After about 20 seconds of the trailer, I immediately began watching You and I could not stop. After finishing the first episode, I was completely and totally hooked. Once I found out that the show was based off of a novel, I knew that I had to get my hands on a copy. For me, as much as I loved the show, I found the novel to be far superior. Granted, there were some areas where I think that the show took creative liberties that worked out in the end, but I found the novel to be simply captivating.
Kurt MasonPublished 5 years ago in GeeksReview of 'Stranger Things' 3
An excellent third season of Stranger Things—in fact, my favorite of the three so far—which couldn't be more timely in this age of Trump and Putin. In the 1980s, the Russians were the Soviets, but they occupy the same place in Western popular culture—adversaries—and so they make great villains along with the monsters that the breakthroughs to the other dimension engender.
Paul LevinsonPublished 5 years ago in GeeksThe [Very Long] Story of Jim and Pam
Everyone loves Jim and Pam... but how exactly did it all happen again? With over eight seasons, I found myself forgetting all kinds of details. For some reason, I though they were childhood friends, but they weren't. They really did meet at Dunder Mifflin... how... romantic? I guess you say that they found love in a hopeless place.
My Review of 'Stranger Things': Season 3
I realize that they have to churn out the seasons for Stranger Things pretty fast right about now. The kids are growing up and pretty soon you won't buy the fact that they're still teenagers anymore. I had an idea what they were going to do in this third season based on the previous season but it definitely did not go that direction.

Joe HarrisPublished 5 years ago in GeeksThinger Strangs 3: The More Things Strange, the More They Stay the Same
I think I liked this season of Stranger Things, but it also left me feeling just a bit underwhelmed. In some ways it’s an improvement on the last season, but in others I feel like it doesn’t try as hard. I don't really have a hot take or anything, but once I got started I realized I had a lot to say, so here we go. Oh yeah, spoilers.
Danny DuffPublished 5 years ago in GeeksWatching 'Castlevania' Season 2
Season two of Castlevania was dropped on Netflix in 2018. The cast and the crew was largely the same with the addition of Adam Deats and Spencer Wan as two of the three directors spreading out the work of directing the episodes. Furthermore, the addition of Theo James, from the Underworld franchise and Divergent franchise, Adetokumboh M’Cormack, who was in Heroes and 24, and the fantastic Jaime Murray, from Dexter and Spartacus Gods of the Arena, being added to the cast as members of Dracula’s core generals is an enticing prospect, playing Hector, Isaac, and Carmilla respectively.
