Looking for some new shows to binge on rainy summer days? I've got a new list for you of shows I've watched recently and thoroughly enjoyed.

*All the shows listed below are available on Netflix*

'Dead to Me'

This suspenseful drama came out this May and thrilled audiences so much that season 2 is already confirmed. The show centers around a newly widowed Jen, played by Christina Applegate, who is attempting to cope with the loss of her husband whilst raising her two children, keeping her career going, and keeping herself together. When she attends a grief group therapy session meeting, she meets Judy and the two become fast friends.

As their friendship grows, other things in Jen's life spiral out of control, including the case of her husbands hit and run murder. It's a thrilling saga of events about trust and the truth.

'Schitts Creek'

This is honestly one of the funniest shows I've ever watched. Schitts Creek is about a wealthy family who loses it all after a bad investment and has to move to a town that the father bought as a gag gift for the sons birthday. The town is called Schitts Creek and is rightfully named as it is a small, rundown town, with a tiny population, limited restaurants, and interesting townspeople.

The family, the Roses, have to adjust to living in this kind of gross town and without unlimited money and they do it in the funniest of ways.

'Good Girls'

This show is a thrilling comedy about three struggling families whose mothers are friends and they conspire to rob a grocery store together. One of the mothers works in the grocery store and knows how the security is and with the help of the other mothers they rob the store and they kind of get away with it.

It isn't until the next day that the three mothers find out that the money that they've stolen to help their indebted families is actually the money from a gang. The grocery store they robbed is a money launder for a gang and they stole from that gang. With their lives on the line, the mothers have a choice to either pay the gang back or rat themselves out as well as the gang.

'Sex Education'

Sex Education is an interesting depiction of high school in England, from the point of view of a teenage boy, Otis, whose mother is a sex therapist. Because of this he knows a lot about sex and relationships and he puts it to use giving advice to his friends. A girl that he likes, Maeve, convinces Otis to start selling his advice and having meetings of his own as his mother does. Otis becomes the sex therapist for the school and gives people advice, as well as dealing with problems of his own.

'Stranger Things Season 3'

If you're a Stranger Things fan, you've got to catch up on the third season! Odds are you probably already have watched Season 3, but in case you haven't, put down the computer and binge it now!! Season 3 has all of our favorite returning cast, with some added bonuses such as Robin, Steve's co-worker at Scoops Ahoy and Alexei, without spoiling you'll see who he is soon.

In Season 3, Russians are, for some unknown reason, trying to reopen the crack that Eleven closed. However, as the season goes on, the kids are unsure if whats out here with them is something that was never sealed back up, but trapped on the wrong side with them. The kids all are just trying to enjoy their summer being normal teens in the 80s and end up helping save the world from slimy monsters.

I know this description doesn't say much, I don't want to spoil anything for you. Just be prepared that this season, like all the others will make you laugh, make you wonder what the heck is going on in Hawkins and most importantly, make you cry.

Honorable mentions are The Umbrella Academy and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I've not watched either of these personally yet, but I know people that have and they say that they are great. I will be watching these soon.
