12 New Additions Your Gaming Library Absolutely Needs
My gaming journey started with a console, eventually moving to gaming on a PC. I've been gaming all my life, but was forced to take a hiatus when I was too busy with work and traveling a lot. Over the last few years, I renewed my passion for video games. Let's be honest: lockdown was pure bliss for people like myself. It gave us time to focus on what we love– gaming.

How I Found My Voice As A Woman In Gaming (And How You Can Too)
If you told me a year ago I’d be making money from playing video games I would have just laughed. When people look at me they’d never guess I’m a gamer. I’m a sporty, but feminine, girl with a corporate job at a global business. But when I’m not working, exercising, or socializing, I spend a lot of my spare time playing video games and even turned my love for gaming into a side hustle. My brothers introduced me to gaming when I was 4 years old, so I’ve played almost my whole life, however, I never had many friends who liked video games when I was growing up. It was almost a hidden passion of mine. A passion that has developed and now helps me pay the bills.

5 Reasons Why Gaming is Actually Good For You
It all started when I was around 6 years old; when my siblings and I shared consoles from the family computer, or our first Gameboys. I remember what a big deal it was to get a new game and how much money they cost. The games I most vividly remember are: Command and Conquer, Total War, Mario, Donkey Kong and the biggest game of my childhood was Pokémon. To this day, at 27 years old, I am still a huge Pokémon fan! It was quite magical being a worry-free kid and having so much fun playing these games, and I think it’s important to relive that feeling when you’re an adult. There’s no denying that adulting, the single most unavoidable part of life, is accompanied by stress, expenses, and very limited time to do what you truly love. That’s why I believe that gaming should absolutely be a part of everyone's life — even if only once a week. In my experience, gaming has allowed me to unplug from the hustle and bustle of everyday life by pulling me into an exciting world of possibility. Whether I’m building cities in Skylines, racing in forgeign cars with Sonic the Hedgehog, or strategically extracting gold in Assassin’s Creed - the gaming world has had a host of positive influences in my life.
Connor FaircloughPublished 3 years ago in Gamers Hogwarts Mystery: A Harry Potter Game Review
The Hogwarts Mystery game was first released back in 2018. I've seen a lot of updates since then. For example, a better graphic colour, additional character customization options, and more features that you can gain more points. But, in my perspective, it is noticeable that the game's developers have tried to keep the game's core through all these years. What is the game's core? Well, the possibility of being whoever you want to be in the Wizarding world. From creating your own character to choosing which character you want to court with (no matter the gender) to adopting your very own Niffler!
Diane ZievingerPublished 3 years ago in GamersThe Villains of Resident Evil: Village
The most recent in the Resident Evil franchise was probably the most popular video game in quite a long time. Even people that aren't fans of video games found themselves attracted to the game. We'll currently ignore why that might have been why. But it does have something to do with the cover photo of this article.
Why Batman’s Arkham series represent’s the BEST of Videogames
If you’ve ever played videogames then you’ll be aware of the Arkham series, however even then you may not have played them, and that’s what I hope to change with this article. Even if you just have a passing interest in games, I’d still recommend you play them. There is (in my opinion – which is why you are here I presume??) no better games series out there! That includes even the Call of Duty series, Mario, Metal Gear Solid, you name them, this is still better, by miles.
Gary PackerPublished 3 years ago in Gamers5 Things I Learned About Money from Animal Crossing
If you aren't already aware of the wildly popular Animal Crossing: New Horizons, then you must not have been quarantined with a Nintendo Switch. It dropped right as the reality of quarantine was starting to feel real and endless - right when many of us realized we would be spending our spring and even summer indoors, waiting out the pandemic. For me, virtual island life became an escape from the monotony of life in my apartment, and the drudgery of working on my master's degree on top of working from home - a trifecta if ever I've seen one.

3 Hacks That Will Save You Hundreds of Dollars on Gaming This Year
We have all been there. A new game is released, looks amazing, graphics are out of this world and the hype is real. Especially those games released on Next Gen consoles such as the Xbox Series X or the Playstation 5. But, having to spend $60 on the base game alone, sometimes upwards of $100 for the extra content or DLC’s can be a real drawback. Not everyone can afford to spend that much on games – especially when you have a family and bills to pay such as myself. But being a Twitch Partner I need to keep my content fresh and up-to-date. So I need to find regular solutions to get those awesome games but at cheaper prices.
Richie McNamaraPublished 3 years ago in Gamers The Top 10 Pawns In Gaming
When it comes down to it, all video game characters are really pawns. Pawns that we control, and sacrifice, in our ongoing search for entertainment. But some people are unwitting tools even in their own universes. Here are the Top 10 characters that got into games over their heads.
Blake AnglinPublished 3 years ago in GamersAnd The Universe Said I Love You
“And the universe said I love you.” Seven words that will never fail to prickle tears in my eyes, the overwhelming sense of truth and serenity in that statement will never not shake me to my core. In a good way.

The irony here is that one of the things I love doing most to erase stress and re-balance myself is writing...and here I am writing about it! However, it's not just any writing that I use to accomplish this; it's writing adventures for my table-top pen and paper gaming group that I've found is one of the most effective ways to eliminate stress. I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons and other similar tabletop games for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, I am using the term playing loosely, as I have almost always been the one running the game. This means I can send the players on adventures using pre-made adventure modules... or, I can create my own custom adventures tailored to my exact liking. I often choose the latter.
