Culture SlatePublished 4 years ago in FuturismThe Rumors Of Pedro Pascal Leaving 'The Mandalorian' Are False
These past several weeks, we have been hearing about the rumors of Pedro Pascal being out as The Mandalorian and pretty much just lending his voice acting for the character going forward on season 3, which Disney has confirmed will be filming next month. It has also been rumored that Pedro Pascal had some problems while the actor was on set. Allegedly, the reason Pedro Pascal wanted out as The Mandalorian was because he wanted to be seen by taking off his helmet, which led to clashing with the creator of The Mandalorian, Jon Favreau, as well as Dave Filoni. Another rumor that was reported was that Pascal actually went to Lucasfilm in an attempt for Lucasfilm to step in and be on his side, but it did not work out as he planned. This cost the creators to tell Pascal to leave the set, which the rumor said he did, and costing of the shift of the character in The Mandalorian season 2 to focus on other characters. The focus on other characters was something confirmed by Jon Favreau in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Culture SlatePublished 4 years ago in FuturismSamuel L Jackson Believes Mace Mindu Survived His Shocking Demise
In all of the prequel films, few of the new characters were as memorable or as popular as the Jedi Master Mace Windu. How much of that is the result of him being played by Samuel L Jackson, one of the most popular actors of all time, is up for debate, but he was one of the few characters who had... character. Sort of. He had a purple lightsaber unlike any other Star Wars characters, and he was portrayed as one of the Jedi's most powerful warriors, both in the dialogue, and his brief fight with the bounty hunter Jango Fett. It was Windu who was the most distrustful of Anakin, and naturally, Windu's death at the hands (er... lightning) of Chancellor Palpatine, AKA Darth Sideous with Anakin's help is the final nail in the coffin for Anakin's journey to the dark side. With Mace being shot out of a window into with the use of Force lightning after Anakin cut his hand, Mace Windu seemed like he was totally kaput.

The Mandalorian season 2 is set to premiere October 30. It is so close that I will not even joke about it being too far away. After all, it is coming out next week! The lack of spoiler-filled details in the marketing has been great on Disney and Lucasfilm's parts. It keeps the show mysterious so that the viewers can be surprised about what is to come.
