The Post-COVID-19 Business World - Part 2: Restaurants
NOTE: In the first article in this series (The Post-COVID-19 Business World — Part 1: Overview), we sketched out the very changed world that all of us are living through presently as we cope, both individually and as a society, to the COVID-19/coronavirus pandemic. We set the stage for examining how the business world in general will change in what will be the post-pandemic environment to come (and yes, it will!). We believe that it is critical that companies across the board, from the largest corporations to small, local businesses develop strategies to succeed in the post-pandemic environment.
David WyldPublished 4 years ago in Feast We are no longer self-reliant!
It is no secret that as of right now, the world is in bleak condition. We have a global pandemic going on. Wars are running rampant in several countries. Pollution is out of control causing several different health issues among the communities. The list goes on and on. One of the major bones I must pick with society at this moment is the almost entirely unnecessary dependency on grocery stores and fast food restaurants. There is a website I will link here (https://www.partnersforyourhealth.com/fast-food-statistics) that shows the health statistics when it comes to fast food eating and the economic standings of the fast food industries. The information is very interesting and surprising, and it also includes a guide for healthy eating on a busy schedule. It may put some things into perspective.
Sarah MontgomeryPublished 4 years ago in FeastSometimes, a Steak is Just a Steak
Doctor Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis, is said to have remarked, in response to the craze for symbolic examination he’d unleashed, “Sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar.”

I made a dream come true in 2011. I moved to the Alpujarras, the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in Andalucia, Spain. A collection of villages dot the vast, lush lands of the Alpujarras. It is a paradise for those looking to return to a simple way of living. With a perfect climate, the fertile lands are abundant and many choose to buy a little corner of the earth filled with more fruit trees than you can imagine: lemons and oranges, walnuts and almonds, olive trees that are grown on the most difficult terrain. Everything and anything grows for those willing to tend to the soil; anyone who has a care for what they sow will reap the fruits of their labour.
Samantha WilsonPublished 4 years ago in FeastOnline Food Delivery on the Rise
Currently the traditional model of delivery, where a customer contacts a local restaurant directly, still accounts for nearly 90% of all delivery orders, with ⅔ of those being ordered by phone. However as technology has shown in many other commercial markets, the ability and desire to purchase or order anything online is growing quickly.

Of all the places to have a debate about Pineapple on Pizza, you'd never expect it on the social business platform LinkedIn would you? Well that's what happened.
Jay StansfieldPublished 5 years ago in FeastMilk!
As I was with my friend ordering a drink at the cafe, the lady at the counter cheerfully asked, "So would you like almond, soy, skim, or full cream milk with that?" My friend, looking as confused as ever, asked what the difference was, to which the lady recommended almond milk with his caramel thick-shake.
14 Film/TV Restaurants We Wish Were Real
Man, I could really go for a "Pepper Don't Preach" burger. Unfortunately, not every fictional restaurant has become a reality. We have all gotten excited over the fictitious restaurants that have come true, but there are still plenty of potentially great establishments that continue to exist only in the realm of fantasy.
Jenika EnochPublished 5 years ago in FeastWould You Like a Whopper with Your Traffic Jam?
We have all been there. You are sitting there on the highway. You are surrounded by a sea of other cars. You cannot see any discernible reason as to why you and hundreds, perhaps thousands of other drivers are just sitting there. You might have hope for a few brief seconds when you slowly inch along, and then boom, you are sitting stationary once again!
David WyldPublished 5 years ago in FeastPumpkin Spiced Ehh
It’s that time of year again where our capitalistic tendencies take over, and we watch ourselves indulge in spending money on meaningless things such as Pumpkin Spice Crest Toothpaste and Clorox Pumpkin Spice Bleach. I don’t indulge on anything laced with allspice or nutmeg because I’m a semi-normal individual that has values and boundaries. For those that don’t have any common decency left this is a good time of year for you.
